Fabulous stay at The Rock

We had an amazing stay at The Rock. The staff was amazing, so friendly and kind all the time. The hotel was quite small and therefore intimate and familiar. We got to know many other guests aswell. I could easily recommend The Rock for my friends and others. Good location, not too far from city centre and quiet. Situated directly at the beach. Loved the room with our own pool. Loved this place! Thanks for your good hospitality :)

Overall - good stay We have great rooms, well presented and well maintained. Well selected & presented breakfast. Please consider couple of points: 1. Staff at front desk are very friendly, however they have very limited English skills. This will improve communications 2. Consider to provide greater tours and excursions options 3. We experienced a bad small of weed from my neighbour room downstairs'. Our room was exposed to bad small at least 2 times per day and at night as well. Reported once but no satisfactory resolution- this effected badly to our rest / sleep

We enjoyed 4 nights at this boutique hotel. Initially there were a couple of maintenance issues (leaks) in our room but they were fixed very quickly. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. We booked a room with our own outdoor pool but found we didn’t use it. It was completely under shade and there were lots of mosquitoes due to the vegetation. The main pool was gorgeous! Outstanding views and super comfortable cushions on the loungers. The manager, Dada, was very personable and ensured we were comfortable during our stay. We were treated to a half-day trip to see a cave of temples and then a mangrove forest. Super interesting and we met some lovely people. The breakfast was great. Everything you would want for a Western breakfast including made to order eggs, and iced coffee drinks. I stuck to my favourite of a cappuccino / Americano mixture. Plan to bring a good book as you will get in lots of relaxation. Also bring your insect repellent with DEET as the mosquitoes were definitely around more than I thought they’d be. We would absolutely come back the The Rock again. We miss it already. Thank you Dada for a lovely stay and the personal attention.

Great service. Loved the location as it was walkable to several restaurants and the 2 night markets that are on the weekend's. A 7 Eleven is close by. The view from the pool area is amazing as you. Loved the person pool some rooms have in their backyard!

The location is on the beach so property has a good location and close to other restaurants and shopping. The room was clean but a little out of date. The pool was nice. We had to wait until after 3pm to check in and waited in the lounge area. The breakfast was horrible, everything was cold, dry or old, i.e. the salad was over a day old. The eggs were not made to order, and the rice was hard and cold. I f you get there after 9 am they do not provide fresh food.

Only worth your money if its 50USD/night

Bathtub is broken, staff cannot fix and did not provide a room change. Limited parking spaces, have to park in another parking space across the hotel with no security staff or cctv to ensure your car is safe. Brekfast also not worth the price. However, the staff is polite and nice In summary, this hotel is not worth your money. It should be 50 USD/night.

Nice place, with some improvements to be made

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good bed and pillows. However, room maintenance, as in most places in Thailand, isn’t worthy of a 4.5 star hotel (the sitting in the private pool was falling appart, shower was worn out, etc.). As for the breakfast, most of it was cold (pancakes and French toasts looked good, but not on a stove). It’s also too bad that there is no shading at the main pool, way too hot to stay there in the afternoon.

Quite hotel and close to the center of Huahin. Private beach and Big Pool. Good Dinner set and value to money. Also Good Breakfast but the Parking area is not comfortable for access and few area. Another thing should aware on this hotel is no elevator. If you have big luggage, please ask the staff helping you if your room is 2nd or 3rd fl. Overall is okay and good services.

The Hotel staff were superb as we were there whilst covid 19 was on .They kept the hotel open in the end just for us. The standard of service and concern from the staff for us was beyond my expectation. Serving us a la carte food and organising food at night when everwhere around was closing down. A great thankyou to M all at the Rock.

The room was dirty and had bad smelling, Jacuzzi in room J2 looked never used to be cleaned and water in it smelled very bad, very loud noise from air-conditioner, The door couldnt lock properly and alarm always rang . But all staff was very good and helpful(Superb service). Nice location.
