There are much nicer places than this in Hua Hin. Too far away from most things such as the beach, markets shops. Staff unfriendly. Best thing about it is the pool. Look elsewhere and you'll find better
Overall facilities are good. Even though the hotel is far from beach and the city center, the shuttle bus is available for you. The schedule for the bus is fixed and not flexible. So if you have your own personal car, it's not the big problem. This hotel is suitable for setting seminar or business travel, not for backpackers or travelers.
Stayed here with my family for 4 nights in a family room. The staff was very friendly and tried very hard to help us with anything that we needed, Room was clean and a/c worked great. Nice big pool with a slider witch was allot of fun. Only 5 to 10 minutes away from the beach on the shuttle. I think this is a great 3 star hotel . If you are a reasonable person and not a dreamer, what you are getting for $35 a night is defenatly a real deal.
I lived here for a month during a course I was taking to become an English teacher in Thailand. Half of the hotel (which is completely separated from the other half) is for long term rentals, which is where I was staying. The rooms were very nice, clean and modern. There is a nice little balcony with a great view of hua Hin. And the pool is very big and nice. The location isn't ideal if you want to go to the beach everyday. But it is easily accessibly via tuk tuk or songtaew, which the front desk can call for you. I highly enjoyed my stay here.
Took my wife & her Vietnamese daughter to Hua-Hin, stayed at Glory Place where we used Gift Vouchers for 2 nights. This hotel should rather be called as Apartment or Mansion. Ours is typical Superior small budget style with a view of the pool's sliders on the next door building. We arrived on Friday so Saturday's ABF was only set menu due to low occupancy, but made up on Sunday's morning with full buffet.
The hotel located near the beach. It's very convenient for us because it surrounding by bars and restaurants.Almost all within walking distance. The hotel staff are so helpful and polite .I will recommend to my friends if they plan to Hua Hin.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was pretty nice, despite very loud noise of children shouting at midnight. The most unforgivable experience was that one of the hotel staff intruded my room at 07:20 am while I was sleeping. I assumed that he was the staff as he had the key card to access my room. Without a knock, he opened the door and was about to walk in, when I tried to tell him not to enter. I have been thinking of the possible reasons. But 07:20 am is not the time to do housekeeping or room service or anything else. I have informed the front desk upon checking out, and only the word 'sorry' was given to me. This is unacceptable.
My husband and I love the place, very nice staffs and very good speaking English people. They provide motorbike for rent 250B/day. We're so excited while staring at the spacious swimming pool. The only thing we concerned about is the toilet it stinks, so we called the staff to solve the problem they did help us in a way that they sprayed air freshener around our room. I just told my hubby we're in Thailand and cracked together!
Very nice hotel , very , very friendly staff . Not far from the beach , and many place to eat around the hotel . Would stay there any time , nice to have a bike or motorbike . One can rent one very easy . Ludwig .
First off we have stayed in Hua Hin so know the score well and so should you lol. If you are not careful you WILL spend way over the top here so here's my take. Hilton £200 a night, should I go on? They all try to grab what is achievable. Glory £20 - £30 max a night. First point to consider is noise and there is plenty wether it is the main road drag or the bars pumping till the early hours. And that does include the Hilton district by the way. So where do you want to stay? In the thick of it and need another holiday to get over this one? Or maybe out the way slightly? Yep, get the heck out the main drag it's a thorn that will prick you. Most hotels will drop you off in the town and pick you up all free so no worries here. And also 10 bht is the cost in the official tuck anywhere in town so don't spend stupidly as we see so many folk. The Glory is a new build and the staff here really do go a long way to try in their best way they know. Breakfast is freshly made so eggs come out HOT and bacon is not chopped up crap but proper streaky bacon cooked well. The gym is basic but has everything and more. The breeze that blows over the top floor is 10 times better than any air con and lol feels a little more realistic (by the way there is a sticky e stop button on the treadmill so if you get safe mode wiggle it). The hotel gladly drop off and pick up but importantly they look out for you in town and if you're late guess what? Yep they do their best to make sure you're ok, honestly I can't fault anything here. Our normal day was get breakfast, sunbathe till 1 then get the courtesy bus to the beach, get picked up at 7.45. In that time I'd worked out in the gym, gone to the beach, sunbathed, had a copious few beers, ate and come home. After travelling for 3 months around Thailand I can honestly say this hotel strangely ticked many boxes for us and if you just go with it I'm sure you'll love this place too. Thank you Glory if by chance you read this.
