Visited this hotel 5 years ago with formaer company and have chance to re-visit again this year. Pool villa room is recently renovated. Nice, clean, and cozy. Staff is well-trained with high level of service-mind. Six senses spa is something you should not miss at this hotel which offer you unforgettable experience of spa massage. Hotel is next to the beach. Just walk across the road to reach the beach.
We stayed in a private pool villa which was excellent for a romantic 3 night getaway. Very good facilities. Hotel service was very good to begin with but not very good following the arrival of a conference group. Potential guests should be aware that this resort is not on a beach, it is in fact directly across the road from the sea wall. Signs warn of potential jelly ray stings in the area.. You preferably need your own transport in this area to visit surrounding attractions and the many small restaurants that offer quality meals at reasonable prices. We ate at two restaurants within the resort. The Coast where the food was good although expensive and the service a little slow and The Bar which has a lovely setting opposite the sea was somewhat spoiled by a loud singing duo with a very poor selection of songs. Best thing about the resort was the private pool villa which I highly recommend.
This is our 2nd time to visit Evason and stayed at pool villa for 4 nights. Everything is still good and food of the Coast restaurant was excellent. My sons was disappointed no supply of watermelon juice for breakfast buffet this time and no ice lolly provided when they are swimming at the main pool. Honestly we didn't feel any hospitality during our stay particularly the Thai restaurant and breakfast buffet but some of your staffs at reception counter and chef at breakfast egg station are very nice. Obviously we realised that your staffs treat differently to asian people. Your senior management shall consider to take lead for improvement of the services.
My first time to Hua Hin and chose this hotel as our target is finding a hotel room with private pool in a affordable price. We stayed in the Villa for 2 nights and actually we arrived at the hotel too early (around 09:00hrs), we was contacted by the hotel for offering a early check in charge (3000THB with BBF, around the half price of the room). I think it's acceptable since you won't want to wait for the room after taking the long transport from BKK to Hua Hin. The hotel is not in downtown and takes around half an hour from town to the hotel. I'm really recommend people who is going to walk around in the town, RENT a car. But my most recommendation is stay in the hotel and enjoying their facilities. - The six senses spa was creditable and amazing. This is the most most most relaxing spa which I had ever tried. - The in Villa BBQ dinner was changed from my room to the the restaurant as of the weather. Night view from the restaurant is very nice. But my friend and I were unable to finish all since all were big dishes. - The room is clean and comfortable. The private pool is a bit smaller than my expectation but everything going through was fine enough. But some disappointed is the jacuzzi in my room was unable to store the water. We didn't inform to the hotel since we found it at the late night. - Many choices of the BBF from Thai to Japan. I am really satisfied for my stay in this hotel and would recommend to the person who is planning their trip to Hua Hin. Enjoy the vacation away from the crowd.
My Thai wife and I often go back to Bangkok, and HuaHin represents quite a convenient gateaway. Evason is a very nice and cozy hotel, all amenities, swimming pool, restaurant bar were up to standard, very nice. Only negative was the 6 Senses SPA. Very nice staff, but we were expecting much more. We chose 2 different massages, and both of us found it very average, light, nothing memorable. Probably our expectations were set too high, but really, it was nothing special. The only special thing about that SPA is the price!
Good for weekend relaxing break in a peaceful setting. I have enjoyed my super lazy day by stay for 2 nights 3 days at the Evason, Hua Hin. I tried spa massage, then go to the beach & take a nap. The staff were friendly attentive. I stayed at room in the east zone, it was polished concrete floors, as eco-friendly style with garden view. The plants, lotus ponds and palm trees, The resort is some distance from Hua Hin so it made me thinking of convenience to shopping & dining in town. I think everyone cannot quit our fast lifestyle altogether because we were racing against time. But at laest, can make time to slow down to bring balance to daily life.
This is just a great resort. Especially if you go for the Pool-villa option. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extreemly comfortable. Gardens surrounding the resort is magnificent. The whole vibe of the hotel has a very strong thai-zen. Great for relaxation. Pool area is also nice - even for kids! The food selection both for breakfast, lunch and dinner is fantastic. We had some of the best dinners in Thailand at the hotel restaurant. All-in-all you will have a fantastic time if you choose this resort!
After missing this beautiful place for about 18 months, my wife and I have returned for a quick long weekend getaway. We were amazed that staff still remembered us and stopped by for quick hellos from the time we stepped foot on the property. Our objective for this long weekend was to learn new ideas and techniques in Blue Lotus for our plant-based cooking. We were not disappointed. Now managed by Christophe Berg, there was a new vibe on the premise. We took three short sessions daily from bread & tartines to Pure Energy to Asian sweets. In the bread& tartines session, we learned to create a crust with very few yet nutrient dense ingredients. We created an almond crusted tartines. See my creation in the picture. In the Pure Energy session, led by Christophe himself, we learned simple, quick recipes to rejuvenate after exercise and during exercise. He combined a sports science and nutrition knowledge approach. We wish we could spend a week learning about it. In our last session, the Asian Sweets, we had picked up interesting ideas on how to make mochi using local ingredients which could be adapted when we return home. The learning was more how to combine commonly found ingredients to create something healthy and plant-based. We experimented with putting dates and carrots inside my mochi as I am allergic to some ingredients. The best of all, the attentiveness we got during the session was like being spoiled. We listened to the instructor, when we were ready to practice, all the ingredients were prepared and measured. When we were done, someone took the used dishes away. Blue Lotus is a learning lab as far as I am concerned. It's a place not only for participants to learn from the instructors but also the instructors willing to take ideas from the floor and try them out. It was refreshing to see.
Just about perfect from start to finish. The whole place and the people in it ooze class and a steady and experienced hospitality hand on the tiller. After a buggy ride from the car park, checking in is done in a semi-open area, and is both warm and dignified. Then through the immaculately-kept grounds to the room, in which the attention to detail is impressive in the extreme. Our room featured an unbroken line of sight from the door and bathroom, through the area with the bed and bath, onto the deck, and onwards to the sea - cue an intake of breath on first viewing. The view from the bathroom is made possible by a moveable screen, thus allowing for privacy when it's needed. As indicated, the bath is in the bedroom (on a small pedestal), which is a neat touch, and what a beautiful and capacious bath it is. The bed was comfort personified, the room well and thoughtfully appointed, and the deck (a superior balcony) contained a dining table and chairs, and, yes, a second bed for anyone fancying sleeping al fresco. The view of the sea - just a stone's throw away - is simply gorgeous. The breakfast selection, set out seemingly over a vast area, is exceptional, but I must make mention of the food we ate at other times - simply the best we encountered in a three-week stay in Thailand, during which we tried a wide variety of places. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and wonderfully tasty, especially a sea bass dish. Suffice it to say that even salad dressing had us drooling. The staff were invariably helpful, friendly, and polite. Nothing has been missed - whomever is responsible for setting both the overall direction and the minor details of the resort deserves to be commended, as there was literally nothing with which we could find any fault. It looks effortless because it is professionalism of the highest order. Evason may not be cheap, but it's worth every penny, and is actually very good value. There are all kinds of amenities and activities for those so inclined, but I find it hard to believe anyone won't have a magical time just being there.
Perfect weekend getaway! Stayed in the pool villa and the room was beautiful. Extremely private and peacful. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Definitely don't miss out the bar. Pamela and Bobby (The Quezon) and the staffs at the bar were a highlight to the trip. Will surely be back again. Thanks Evason.
