Nice family run hotel. Not luxurious, but well appointed, constructed and finished. Bathrooms now seem much improved over several years ago. Well located. A range of breakfasts. Scrupulously clean. Friendly, if not folksy.

Great hotel in great location

Excellent. The tv broke in my room but the next day the owner went and bought a brand new tv. Staff are really helpful without being intrusive great location. I will definitely stay here again

an excellent choice

A very nice hotel the staff were friendly and helpful and the management were always on hand to help, a very nice breakfast and good choice too, the room was clean and large but i think we were upgraded to a suite, no outside noise could be heard inside the room, all in all a very good hotel in the perfect location close to all amenities, the only downfall was not having a pool although we love the beach we missed a pool because there are no sunbeds on Hua hin beach only deck chairs.

This hotel is family owned & operated. Everyone is very friendly & helpful. There are many homey touches which sets this hotel above similar priced hotels..Breakfast items are cooked to order. I especially liked the fried pork & Basel with rice & an egg. We will definitely be back when we return to Hua Hin.

What makes this place so good is the lady who manages it. I booked a room and came by to see the hotel and to find out if my room was facing the street. I found out all the standard rooms faced the street but she gave me an upgrade to a room at the back of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and I felt very welcomed so I decided to stay another 4 days.

A Good Choice In Hua Hin

I have never been to Hua Hin in all my travels to Thailand so decided to go there for a couple of days. I choose Baan Pa Ploy as my hotel there and was very pleased with it. Check in was great, the staff is very friendly and the room was great. The room actually is split up into a large bedroom area and a kind of separate living room area with a modern sofa that can be used as a bed if needed. It also had a separate covered balcony area with chairs to relax on plus a nice bathroom. The rooms on the front of the building tend to be a little noisier as this hotel is on a main street but I had no problem with it. If you want quieter request one of the two units on the back on each floor. They served a nice breakfast with toast, fruit, juice, coffee or tea plus a choice of about 14 items on a menu. I would stay there again if visiting Hua Hin.

Budget Hôtel in Hua Hin

The hotel was quiet because of its low season but in Genaral Hua Hin is quieter than its ever been. The accommodation was good and I have no complaints about it.

Good Room, Good Service, Avoid the Breakfast

This is good value for money. Good location. A little dated. The king sized bed was more than firm because it was 2 twin beds pushed together with a hard foam topper making it seamless. The breakfast was consistently disappointing and never delivered as ordered whether I had Thai food or Western. On my last day the bacon seemed suspect. I only took one bite and left the rest on my plate. That one bite made me suffer for 24 hours
