Great neighborhood- quiet and peaceful.

Very comfortable little house with great amenities, good neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. House is desperate for interior paint and needs deeper cleaning.

Would stay again

We booked this house so we could attend the Houston rodeo. My sister and her boyfriend flew in to join my husband and I. We brought our 2 big dogs as well. We had a great time! The house is relatively close to everything. About 30 mins from IAH and about 20 from NRG Stadium. So location was perfect. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and we felt safe. The fenced back yard was so nice to have with our 2 dogs. They loved being able to run and play while on a road trip since with hotels they usually have to stay on leash. There are so many squirrels in this neighborhood my dog was over the moon happy about how many she chased haha. The house was nice and clean. We had an issue with 1 of the bed frames but management got back to us so quickly and had it fixed while we were at the rodeo so we were able to come back and get a good nights rest. The hot water lasted so long I was impressed! I took a pretty long “girl everything” shower, and the other 3 showered after me and everyone still had hot water. Overall we had a great time and were very happy with our stay!

Do not recommend

I would absolutely not recommend this place. The biggest issue (of several) was that the oven didn’t work…. Try cooking a pre Thanksgiving meal with no oven. Not only did it not work, it wasn’t capable of working as there were no heating elements in it. Clearly the owner and or management company knew but tried to play it off. Look, I’m a reasonable person, but this was completely unacceptable really because they knew about the oven ahead of our stay and didn’t say anything or update the listing, Again, this wasn’t the only issue; we were locked out at one point, no remote for the fire stick for the main TV with the alleged NETFLIX, HULU etc. the place was dirty, the hand soap was watered down…. Come on….. anything BUT an oasis. Response times were horrible. Reported the oven took a couple hours for response and they asked if I would like it replaced and I told them absolutely…. Took 14 hours for another response and by that time we made alternate arrangements. We read the reviews (13) prior to renting and they seemed good, went back and looked after and most are from the same person…. Interesting.

Perfect!

Everything was absolutely perfect - location, condition, back yard, etc. We were only about 15 minutes from everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and very easy to navigate - we are from a small town and not used to Houston traffic etc., but with the Waze app we were able to get to everywhere we needed to with very little effort. The property was very clean and was just what we needed. Thank you very much!

Nice clean house

Great location, the house very clean, and we had all the amenities we needed. Beds was comfortable. The fenced backyard was great for our pets. We had an enjoyable stay.

Perfect!

Westview Oasis is just perfect for what we need. We went for a walk and met a guy we had seen out walking when we were there before. We told him about Westview Oasis and he said he would tell his friends to stay here when they come to visit. I have said this before, but it bears repeating: we love this place! Five stars from us, every single time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Best!

We love this place. It’s small, without being cramped. It’s in a nice neighborhood, with super friendly neighbors. Pay no attention to the first review that complained you can see old paint under the new white paint. You can. Who cares? The place is clean, warm, and inviting. Have I mentioned that we love this place and are so blessed to be able to stay here!

Wonderful place to stay!

We loved this little house! It was super clean, in a very cool neighborhood, and the king sized bed was super comfortable! Checking in and out was super easy. The host communication was great. We loved our stay here, and will stay again if it is available when we are back in Houston.

Less than expected

Nice area, cute house but renovation could have been better (you could see the old paint underneath the white paint in the kitchen, a floor transition strip was loose). The backyard was quite nice, but the weather didn't allow us to use it. The living room smelled like smoke even though it was no smoking. No dish towels in the kitchen. The oven gave us some issues, but the property owner was prompt with responding. Good communication.
