After having a discussion with all of the guest, we have finally come up with how we all felt about our stay at this property. One of the guests actually left and went to a hotel it was so terrible. This is the second time that we have chosen this rental company for our stay at one of their properties. From the time that we came in on Friday night until when we left they chose not to send anyone there to get us lights in the kitchen. Therefore we had to eat out every night and was not able to have an actual decent meal for dinner. A couple of the guest have asthma and there was in the back guest apartment a filled filter left on the kitchen counter in which that was very unsanitary. Mow . Mold was found up underneath the kitchen sink and water. our safety was compromised by not having doorbell or lights at the front and we are requesting that we be refunded for our stay at this property very very unsatisfied. We’ve sent pictures before and we’ll send them again. There were cats at the back door that would not go away in which that is something that was not part of our agreement to have animals there at the property.

Somewhat Disappointed - 2 hour late check in to a place not true representation of advertisement

After careful planning and coordinating with family for two months to find accommodations for a Summer Vacation, we ran into a several issues with our time at the Bayside Estate including : #1) A text sent at 3:46pm, spent less than 30 minutes before 4pm expected check in proposing we could access at 5pm, BUT still not able to access until 6:06pm after cleanup crew of three finally were done #2) All (6) trash cans were full sitting outside upon arrival#3) Even after calling on Friday, Pool was not cleaned until SUNDAY - had a shoe, empty can, insects, leaves and trash were in the pool (sent pictures) #4) Restroom upstairs had the stench of urine & bleach!#5) Bedroom with double beds had missing slats and guest struggle to keep mattress from falling through the frame to the floor.#6) Limited chairs inside#7) Small number of towels provided for each room and most were NOT soft, but stiff and dingy.#8) Stair well rail was not connected to the wall at the bottom of stairs - some guest stumbled #9) Broken pool stick and no ping pong balls provided#10) Guest house A/C leaked when turned on in the extra hot room (have air on and checked out when expecting#11) Pool light not working - #12 Water rings on dining room table#13) Other marks and punches on walls the floor.Consider provided feedback above and email sent on Sunday. Please consider each observation.

Disappointing Experience at Bayside Ranch by Beaxhbox

I recently stayed at Bayside Ranch by Beach Box and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. Here are some key points that contributed to my dissatisfaction:1. **Cleanliness**: Upon arrival, I noticed that the place was not clean. We were to be scheduled for check in at 4pm but didn’t get checked in until 5:35 due to cleaners were there still cleaning. 2. **Communication**: The host was difficult to reach. I had some questions regarding check-in and amenities, but my messages went unanswered for hours. When I finally did receive a response, it felt rushed and unhelpful. The pool cleaner came the day we were checking out.Overall, my stay at Bayside Ranch by Beach Box was disappointing. I expected a much better experience based on the listing, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend this place to others and will likely look for more trustworthy options in the future.

Termite Infestation Ruined Our Celebration- Unacceptable Conditions

We rented this property to celebrate my son’s high school graduation and acceptance to Yale, expecting a joyful and relaxing stay. Instead, our experience was completely overshadowed by a severe termite infestation.All of our guests were adults, including my elderly father and aunt, who were forced to adjust sleeping arrangements after discovering termites in the guest house. My father and cousin were actually attacked by termites inside the home. It was so bad that my cousin had to remove some of her braids due to insects crawling through her hair.The infestation even spread to the pool, making it unusable for the entire four-day stay. One of the main features we selected the property for became a complete health hazard.This was not just an inconvenience—it disrupted a once-in-a-lifetime celebration for our family and caused serious distress.I immediately requested to speak to a manager and never received a response. The lack of communication and failure to address this situation is unacceptable.Given the unsafe, unsanitary, and uninhabitable conditions of the property, I am formally requesting a full refund. I also urge VRBO to investigate this listing to prevent future guests from going through what we experienced.

Relaxing & fun

We enjoyed our stay. Pool was nice and refreshing. Games were fun and great addition to the stay. Whole family enjoyed the house kids 8 & 16. WiFi was great we were finishing up our last week of school online and it was perfect no interruptions. Great location we enjoy the view & nature around.Communication was on point helpful with things to do.

Peaceful, weekend away

We booked this house for a birthday weekend that was amazing! They accommodated our large group of 20 people, which included 2 babies and even allowed us to bring our dog. The guest house was perfect for our friends with the youngest baby, so they could have a bit more privacy. The house had a lot of space for everyone, including a game room and a TV, which was perfect for our movie night. The private pool was very clean and well maintained. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and we will definitely save this place for future visits. The only thing I would note is that the house seems to be in the process of slight renovations, and the sliding doors are a bit older and difficult to use.

Totally recommend

At first we were a little hesitant since we saw 2 dead cockroaches and we have babies who love to be free but other than that there are no issues. The rooms were spacious and cozy at the same time. Everything in the kitchen is perfect for when you go with family of 20 people. Game room was extremely enjoyed. The pool was a blast. It is a port where you can’t swim but the nearest beach we went to was about a 10 min drive and the store are very close in case you need any last minute things. And we appreciate very detail they had for us to enjoy the home. Very much appreciated and enjoyed the stay.
