The house is very cute and clean the only complaint I had is the area. We were in close enough proximity to all the things to do in Houston but the location of the home was a bit of a shock coming in. I probably should have done a bit more research on the different wards in Houston but I know for next time.

Property was moder, spacious, and well decorated. The host was very responsive and helpful - we discovered the coffee maker wasn’t working on our first morning, and he had a new one shipped to the door by that afternoon. My only reservation is that there is a train track just a couple blocks away, and we experienced multiple train horns in the middle of the night. If you’re a heavy sleeper this shouldn’t be an issue, but my wife is woken easily. We might have picked a different neighborhood if we had been aware of the proximity to the tracks. Still, it was very convenient to both Meow Wolf and Arnold Brewing, which we had on our list of places to go.

Surrounding neighborhood was rough. The unit did not have things we usually see in a VRBO unit. For example, there were very few dishes and glasses. No pizza pan or pizza cutter. The coffee maker didn't work.

I truly enjoyed my stay. The host was extremely communicative, attentive, and available for anything I needed. The home was comfortable, welcoming, and exactly as described. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Houston. I’d happily stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! We booked this updated, newer house blindly since it was our first time visiting Houston, and it turned out to be perfect. We attended a UH football game, and the location was ideal—close to downtown and the playing field. The home was clean, comfortable, and great for entertaining our family. The beds were cozy, and the bathrooms were a good size.The neighbors were friendly, and although the area lacks a bit of curb appeal when you first exit the highway, the neighborhood itself was peaceful and quiet. Eugene was a great host, and the value for this unit was excellent. Our only wish is that there were some outdoor patio furniture to enjoy the space even more.
