Unfortunately our room was on the second floor where there was a hugh air conditioner unit right outside our window. It hummed the entire night. We received a 6:00 wake up call we didn't request. They also wouldn't honor my rewards number.

Our 3 year old daughter locked herself in the bathroom and the maintenance man came up right away to unlock the door. He awesome taped the lock so that it won't happen again. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone!!! Thank you so much!!

Stayed overnight for a Disney on Ice show the next morning at NRG, it was so perfect! Walked to NRG from hotel, no parking fees to pay! Clean & Nice

The hotel was close to where I needed to be. It was ok nothing to write home about but not bad at all.

Not downtown, but it's an easiy drive to everything Houston has to offer and located in a much more convenient part of town.

This hotel isn't anything special, but the location can't beat, depending on why you're in Houston. My room was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful and polite.

Great place to stay and very convenient to Reliant Stadium. Rooms were great

One word: Appalling. This is the first review I've written that I have literally nothing positive to report. I arrived late last Sunday evening for a conference I would be attending Monday-Thursday at the convention center. This was rated a 3 star hotel so I assumed it would be 3 star quality and was willing to pay $169 a night. Long story short, upon entering my room, I immediately noticed the bathroom was filthy, hardly being wiped down. As I started to inspect the room, I noticed spots on the wall in several places that had a very similar resemblance dried blood. I did end up staying the evening but had the lights on and "slept" fully clothed on top of the covers for fear of what I would find under the sheets. When I complained in the morning, the GM came to my room, and I showed her the several blood like stains on the wall and the grime all over the bathroom and the coffee tables. She acknowledged the stains but did not apologize once. Moreover, she did not try to get me to stay or to upgrade my room and literally said "We can refund your money for the rest of the week but you're paying for last night and check out time is now." She literally kicked me out and would not refund my money for the evening I risked my life and health to be there. Thank goodness I had family locally as all other hotels were sold out and I was able to stay with them last week. Unfortunately I did not read the other reviews prior to booking this room but they are pretty consistent and its clear this hotel has little intention to trying to remedy the situation. Save your money and your health. Never again.

Stay was ok, it was good for the location and price. Nonetheless, it does not have lots of amenities and there is a weird humid smell around the rooms. In addition, staff only allows one parking permit per room, any additional permits have a 20 dollar fee, especially if you're there while an event is happening at the Reliant area, which is basically why people decide to stay there, for convenience on distance to that area. A permit per room, does not make sense because there might be more than one guest driving a car while staying there. If that is the case, then it should be totally permissible to have 7 guests in the same room because we are all in one car and there is only 1 parking permit per room!! That would not be allowed though, so, why is it allowed to charge a 20 dollar fee for additional permit even when the reservation specified 2 guests in the room!! Stay there if you are looking for an ok place to stay and you need to make it to the Reliant area, it's walking distance! Also, if you do not mind the humid smell nor the broken locks inside your room.

The room had a bad smell like damp dirty clothes! There was all this black mold under the sink faucet knob, you could tell they just did a very superficial cleaning. I didn't feel very welcomed by the staff either and the convenience shop in the lobby couldn't provide me with a real receipt with the name of the business for my expenses.

Loved the Holiday Inn's free wi-fi, availability to print my airline tickets, mini fridge and coffee maker in room. Breakfast was reasonable and servers were all very friendly. Could have used a microwave as there was not one in our unit and the mini fridge froze everything, I could not see any way to adjust it. Pool area was nice, though pool towels were very skimpy (think hand towel) and tables around pool area were never wiped off. Lobby was freezing! No need to have it that cold. Right in the parking lot of Reliant stadium and multiple restaurants within walking distance. There was an available free shuttle which took you within a 3 mile radius. That is a nice touch.

Staff was pleasant, Room large and comfortable. Close to Doctors office and Medical Center. Good free WiFi. Excellent food on breakfast buffet. No complaints.

The room had a bad smell to it (like damp carpet). Bed linens had a stain on them and there was an apple stem on the floor. The location and price worked for me. I would not make this hotel a first choice.

enjoyed the hotel. very clean and comfortable. had one problem. I called the front desk with a problem of someone trying to enter my room. I was told they would look into it and call me right back.I had to call them back 45 min. later, to see if problem was resolved.

Hotel was perfect for going to the Houston Texans game. Parking lot opens up on the backside to walk right into the staduim. I had a parking pass for the game but the hotel lot was more convenient and closer than my pass and it was free for being a hotel guest. So it was hassle free, no traffic, no hunting for my lot. It was just a really great value, and hassle free. There was 1 dark cloud on my trip, nothing to do with the hotel, the City of Houston decided to turn off the water in the area so the hotel lost water, luckily we had taken our showers early , but had to melt ice in coffee pot to brush our teeth. Not smart, City of Houston!

Toured Texas. Better internet service. It was overall good.

I went to see the doctor, and this hotel has a great location, all the persons are very kind, and they made our stay more enjoyable.

Employees were very pleasant, room was as nice as I hoped it would be, bed was comfortable.

No problems at all...room,lobby,bar, everything fine.

beds are one most important features in a hotel and this hotel failed.
