DO NOT STAY HERE!! This is one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. When I checked in I was initially given a room that was not cleaned. There were multiple towels on the bathroom floor, the bed wasn't made & there was trash on the floor. I went back downstairs & told the guy at the desk & he gave me another room. When we got to the "clean" room, as soon as I opened the door we were hit with the smell of cigarettes, although it's a 'non-smoking' room. At first we couldn't get the TV working, but it was just unplugged. I went to the bathroom & saw cigarette burn marks on the tub, floor & sink. When I raised the toilet seat cover I was digested to find brown streak marks. The desk was dirty with either burn marks or something else, I didn't want to know what it was honestly. I was going to call down to the front desk & request a room change, but there wasn't a phone! There also wasn't a coffee maker, which it says is in the room.
I personally enjoyed my stay here. It isn't the nicest hotel I've ever been too but I didn't have high expectations coming into it considering it's 2 star rating. I feel like I got what I paid for. The only complaint I could have is the location. It is located right next to a major highway and the sound from the cars is pretty annoying in the morning.
Hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. My room smells like Indian cuisine.
If you plan on staying a while and need to cook meals this might be a good option. If you are just wanting a room you might look elsewhere. No maid service for the 5 days I was there.
For the price-I have nothing to complain about. Very Descent
This hotel is modest at best. A/C units are noisy, but do blow cold air. Pool area is very small, TV's are a little dated, was expecting a later madel flat screen. Water pressure in showers were really good and the water was hot. I probably wouldn't stay here again, although the staff was friendly.
I went to Sugarland for my cousins wedding and the hotel we nice and quiet. Friendly staff and very engaged in the guest.
The staff is nice, and it is in a decent neighborhood, but the rooms are overpriced and dirty. The bedsheets had stains on them, and my room smelled bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The walls are also paper thin. You can hear people closing doors, and walking down the hall in the middle of the night. I had a business meeting the next day, while the room next door was partying at 1am. I had to call the desk two times before they were willing to do something about this. I will never stay at a hotel while on business that could potentially disrupt my business. The one nice thing about this place is their breakfast, you get to make your own waffles in the shape of Texas. Tasty!
