I will never stay at this hotel again! It was completely unorganized and we ended up in a whole other building waaaaaay in the back! When we walked in the room there was a musty moldy smell that never went away, the elevator felt like it might collapse at any moment and the ice machine was broken. This felt like a hotel that should have cost about 1/4 of what we paid! What a rip off. Next time we will stay a little bit further from the rodeo in a lot better room for less money. Never again!!

People kept coming in our room at all hours. They called every day confused if room was vacant. They sold parking so at night guests couldn’t get parked. Terrible

Orbitz put you in the super old 1970 bungalow’s that are just as crappy as a motel 6. You do not get to stay in the main hotel. Orbitz is at fault here. False advertising

The hotel was clean but very worn down and old. Vending was broken, doors falling off hinges on every floor, and I'm not sure if they flooded during Harvey but the bottom of our bathroom door appeared rotted. It was good enough to stay in for the distance to the stadium but not a place I would choose I'm a regular basis.

This room was not worth the cost. We could have gotten a much nicer room for the price. The staff was extremely rude- from the concierge, to the check in staff, to the parking staff. Also, if you have more than one car per room, be prepared to pay $30 extra per car. Me and 3 other girlfriends met here to stay and we all live different places, so we had 4 different cars- paying an extra $30 per car added up.... I do not think that is fair at all- especially since I paid an extra $20 per person after 2 people for the room- they really get you with all of the additional charges. On top of that, our AC didn't work and was leaking, causing mold on the ceiling/walls and the room had a moldy, musty smell. The staff- every single one we came into contact with was rude. From the entrance parking guy, to the front desk staff. Even ones we saw along the way to our rooms. I have stayed at multiple other locations of the crowne plaza and have always enjoyed my stay. This one was in stark contrast. The only good thing about this hotel is it is conveniently located to NRG- within walking distance. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

I picked this hotel because it was located within a very short walking distance to NRG Stadium. However, their room service is over at 11pm and by the time I got out of the concert and back into the hotel which was around 12:15am all they could offer were the vending machines. The sodas and waters were $2.00 each!! A small bag of chips cost me $1.75! There was no minibar in the room!! I saw Beyonce that night and the hotel was packed and for big events like that one was and for weekends, room service should be made available until 2:00am because the hotel should anticipate people coming in very late and feelng starved. I only recommend for how close you are to NRG Stadium. Bad hospitality overall.

All it has going for it is that it is close to NRG stadium.

The room was beautiful, the gym could be better, only two machine, work, as I was about to take a shower, it wasn't hot,so call and got my room change.then I had to go ask for a complimentary breakfast because of my change and the gym wasn't equipped.they were nice, but they could have taken care of the breakfast that night.

Upon arrival the service was good, I'm not complaining about service at all. However, the mildew smell sparked up my allergies. It was damp and stuffy feeling. Couldn't find an ice machine to save my life either. A whole lot of square footage but no signs to explain where to go for what. I will not do this one again!

The hotel was clean, beautiful and the staff was friendly. I had 1 incident I was unhappy about. {but I was taken care of right away} I had a room in building 2, I went to the elevator that would've taken me to the third floor, I had a lot of luggage, too much to carry up all the flights to go to my room. The elevator never came.. we waited approximately 12 minutes for it to come, it didn't so we went back to the main elevators That was for the main building. Long story short, I checked in the hotel to go relax after my long drive from Dallas TX, It took me about 30 minutes or longer still no elevator. A few guest informed us the elevator didn't work. I was furious, I went back to the desk and explained what was happening. A manager took care of me and my best friend he was very apologetic and called for maintenance to check on that elevator right away while I was standing there, he then gave us a room in the main building on the 6th floor and a voucher for the breakfast buffet by the way it was GREAT.. THE STAY WAS AWESOME... Clean facility overall and the staff was great.. I'll go back for sure.

Wouldn't recommend--poorly kept hotel. Run down look with non-existent customer service.

It was really nice ..the pool area was nice and clean. Our room was near rhe pool area. Clean room. Nice staff.

Location was decent since my business site was right across the freeway. The breakfast could really use some work for the amount they are charging.

The first impression is good. The lobby is very pretty and the staff is very nice and professional. The rest is not so much. The parking lot is dark. The toilet would t flush. The room was damp. The ac takes a while to cool. While the inside of the rooms is nice and outside needs a lot of work. The crowne plaza name doesn't convey what we saw. I would t stay there again other than for the location. The hotel is two blocks away from the Texan stadium.

Recently relocated to Houston in the area of the hotel. It was very convienient to get to know the area. The staff was nice and gave directions and helped me get familiar with my surroundings. Easy to get around town from here.

Room was ok. Bathroom was disgusting found someone's hair in the bath tub. Staff was no help in getting us transportation. Will never stay there again

Nice people Beds not very comfortable Good location

I've stayed in this hotel before 2 times. This was our third time. We enjoy coming to the rodeo each year. This hotel is the perfect location for attending the rodeo because it's a short walk. However, the hotel is nothing special-it's been here for quite awhile. The first time we stayed our room was in one of the outer sections. It was horrible. There was water trapped under the tub liner so it was quite dangerous to stand in the tub. We reported it upon checkout thinking they might compensate in some way. Response was-OK, we're sorry. The next time we requested a tower room. It was much better. This is the only type of room I would recommend. However, this time the room was dirty (pieces of toe nail on carpet). Also, the bathroom ceiling was about to fall in. For a hotel in this great location that benefits from guaranteed Houston Texans Football & Houston Rodeo business, major upgrades and renovations should be completed.

This is the place to stay if you need a hotel for the Houston Rodeo!

Directions to the room were non existent. We wandered around til we just happened upon it. The room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room, so did the towels. The fridge was not plugged in and all the plugs in the room were so loose that we couldnt get any of the phone chargers to work. And talk about sweltering heat. The ac was off when we got to the room. We turned it on and it smelled like a dirty bathroom. At about midnight the room next door came home. Yelling, screaming, playing loud music and setting out on the balcony drinking. Then they started walking around on the roof. We called the front desk and they sent security which only made them make even more noise. I guess at 130 am another room called and security came back and banged on the door and they finally stopped being so loud around 2am. Beer cans all over the place. We wont be staying there again.
