When we called to reserve our room we asked if the hot tub worked and if they served breakfast. Breakfast was fine, but hot tub was broken. When we went into the room and turned on the lights there were German roaches everywhere. TV didn't work and to have room service come fix it. All other hotels were booked due to an event that was going on in the area so we had no other choice than to stay. We had to zip up our suit cases and set them on the dresser due to we didn't want to bring home any roaches.
Friendly front desk staff and housekeepers, clean spacious rooms, quiet hotel.. great location after a busy work day, the best waffles.. loved everything about this hidden gem. Blanca the manager went out of her way to make my stay more comfortable. Brena did a great job cleaning my room and making it smell so fresh. Its the little details that make your hotel stay better and the staff took care of all the little details.. they serve hot cookies in the evening and by the time I went down they were all gone, the front desk staff made a fresh batch and delivered it to my room.. that is called customer service.. I didn't ask her to do it.. but it made my day! Thank You Baymont team.. you have won a repeat customer!
The staff is nice, the hotel is convenient to restaurants and Walmart is about 2 miles away. I was in room 114. The bed slept well. But, the entire building smelled like mildew or wet carpet. Can't put my finger on it. The breakfast was okay. Nothing special. Scrambled eggs and link sausage. I killed two small roaches and had a spider on the bathroom ceiling. Not worth $105 including taxes. They charge you $1 for the use of the safe and you are told if you don't use it you will get it back. It has been a week and I still do not have it back. I told the lady at check out that I didn't use it and she said the mgr would refund it that day. That was Friday April 6, 2018 and today is Friday April 13, 2018.
The facility inside & out was pretty & clean. You know how some hotels have that smokey/smoggy when you walk in? This one did not! Staff was very friend & extremely helpful. Rooms, up to date & normal. The only thing I would say is the bathroom & air unit could use a update. The shower was a bit dated, but otherwise clean. The air unit was very dusty & set off my allergies. But I wasn't living in the room so I didn't mind it.
I stayed at this location last summer and had a great experience, apparently things have changed. I made my reservation at least 2-3 weeks in advance, even called the morning of my arrival to confirm the reservation, yet when I arrived my room had been given to someone else. The girl at the front desk did her best to accommodate me but still it was quite annoying. There were 2 lights out in my room so maintenance had to come the next day, how do you not notice that 2 of the 5 lights are not working?? When I checked out I asked for a receipt but was told it would be emailed by Expedia, what??? They couldn't even tell me what the total charges were! I accidentally left my cell phone charger plugged into the wall when I left, I called the same afternoon to find out if they had it at the front desk so I could have someone pick it up for me, I was told nothing had been turned in but they would get with housekeeping and call me back, of course I never got that call. Overall the beds were still comfy as I remembered!
Year round heated pool and hot tub a definite plus! The pet walk area was generously sized and bags available. The continental breakfast was sufficient but nothing special.
Everything was nice clean great location everything I needed was right by I would recommend this hotel to friends and family
Our overall stay was terrible Rooms weren’t thoroughly cleaned Bathroom didn’t have tub stopper and then the shower fell off and hit my husbands foot! We went to the hospital and stayed majority of that night but we didn’t get reimbursed for that nights stay! The night manager offered 3000 points for the inconvenience! Which is very unacceptable!
By far, my favorite hotel in Baytown. The staff are super friendly and they remember us every time we visit. Breakfast is tasty and full of variety! They serve hot coffee inside the lobby too. Our room is always in top shape - clean and smells fresh. The double rooms are quite spacious too. It has an excellent location - you can easily get in and out to i10.. I highly recommend choosing Baymont Inn & Suites in Baytown TX
staff was very good ,however the hotel smelled like miledew , also unsavory characters hanging around lobby ! Then I remembered houston had a flood not long ago! I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone !
