Family Friendly

Just arrived home after a great family vacation in Hot Springs. Thank you for sharing your lovely home . It was perfect for our family . Quiet and peaceful Enjoyed the Jefferson pools. Only disappointment was the difficulty we had getting into the Dairy Barn pool and center. Do want to inform you that we did break the glass shade to a lamp in your lower room. Please advise us as to how we can reimburse you! So very sorry! Again thanks for sharing your home. Becky and Ernie May

Spectacular mountain home

Wonderful experience! The home is beautiful and the owners were very thoughtful! It was meticulously cleaned and in excellent repair. Thank you for the welcome basket - what a lovely touch! Very close to the Omni and warm springs. We enjoyed this trip so much.

Birthday Getaway

This was a perfect home for a weekend birthday getaway with friends and a few adult daughters. We were close to the Homestead, where we attended afternoon tea. The Homestead's North Hiking Trail goes right past the house, so we hiked one morning, starting at the house. The house was well equipped for all our needs. Will definitely plan on staying again!

Hot time at the springs

Location was picturesque. Amenities were most adequate. The house was clean neat and ready for us. Weather was colder than normal, so the stacked wood was a bonus and a treat. The host was very responsive to our requests.

Birthday Getaway - Great Location!

This was the perfect location for our many adventures for a birthday weekend. The home was clean and lovely. Communication with the owner was excellent - and we received timely replies. We used almost every room in the house, but especially found the back porch a cozy place to rest and connect between our many activities away from the house. We enjoyed high tea and a fancy dinner at the Homestead, hiked the North Trail (a moderate trail that took us right by the house), and enjoyed the Warm Springs Bathhouse experience - all which were a brief drive to get to. Would definitely recommend this home and look forward to staying there again in the future!

Thanksgiving in the Mountians

Wonderful house for our family! We loved the indoor fireplace along with the fireplace in the screen porch! Kitchen worked perfectly for making our turkey dinner, all the beds were comfy with great water pressure and finally, the view from the front porch could not have been better! Really love the close proximity to the Homestead Resort where were able to play golf among many other activities,

Perfect for a golf weekend at the Homestead

We were so pleased to spend 5 nights at this beautiful property for a girls' week of golf at The Homestead. The front and back porches were wonderful meeting places. The responsiveness of the property manager was excellent. We had an issue with a bed frame that was resolved within hours. Great communication, great response. Would highly recommend this property.

Immediately comfortable

The house was super clean and welcoming, beautifully decorated, a true home away from home. We had everything we needed to settle in within minutes of walking through the door. The host is attentive to details that demonstrate empathy toward the traveler with obvious intent for a seemless adjustment to unfamiliar surroundings. There was a welcome basket with snacks, k cups, and brochures for local activities. Necessities like toilet paper, soap, and towels were in abundance. Instructions prior to arrival were clear, and detailed information provided about how to work everything in the home - be sure to read the guest guidebook when you arrive. The wood burning fireplace in the sunroom is a perk and the host is generous to share wood in the garage. The front porch and yard are amazing outdoor spaces for family downtime. The neighborhood views are gorgeous and the property is a few minutes' drive from the Homestead Resort. The proximity of the community center with the hot tub was a bit misleading until we arrived and found out from the guest guidebook that it required an 8 minute drive. During our short stay we weren't able to easily find it - an address to plug into Google maps would help. The room with bunks and a trundle bed could comfortably accommodate 4-6 children, the lower level rec room perfect for teenagers. The house is not baby-proofed for toddlers. Overall, very pleased with our experience.

Fabulous house!

This property is great! Comfortable beds, very clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen has everything you need. The location is very close to The Omni Homestead and access to the main road is easy. Will definitely stay here again!

Great vacation in the mountains

I rented this house for a family vacation. The house was perfect for our family with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool at the Old Dairy and the amenities of the Homestead. We hiked two days and had dinner two nights at great local restaurants. Each evening we had a fire in the fireplace on the screened in porch, complete with s’mores!

Not Scotland.. maybe better

A postponed trip to Scotland brought four close friends to the Homestead.. The house was perfect!! Awesome property- 3 minutes to the Homestead ( Old Course) and less than 10 to the Cascades course. Easy to book and check in. Perfect for four older dudes . Many thanks and look forward to a return stay....,

Beautiful house in a spectacular location!

Georgeous house, interior was done up beautifully, very clean and well maintained, in a perfect location with amazing views! Absolutely loved our stay! The whole process of checking in and out was seamless and smooth. The views and the surrounding greenery and the rolling hills were spectacular! Host was very responsive! Definitely 5 stars!

Home away from home

These are stressful times and taking a vacation shouldn’t be stressful. This home was everything our family needed. Beautifully decorated, lots of space, and everything you needed to feel like you are at home. The welcome basket with Clorox wipes and fun snacks was a treat! Loved being able to bbq, cook dinners for my family, and have a fun pool tournament to top it off. The property manager was very helpful and was easy to reach. Great place to stay and enjoy the homestead without all the crowds. Will stay again.
