Great Location

The king size bed was extremely comfortable, and the Hawaiian quilt made it look so very pretty. The kitchen had plenty enough cookware and dinnerware to easily have nice breakfast. The condo is exactly how the pictures show it to me. We were very pleased with our stay.

Worked well for us

Excellent location within walking distance from loads of excellent places to eat and Waikiki Beach. Parking being included was HUGE, as other places make you pay an extra $40-50/day for this! Beautiful view from the balcony. King size bed was super comfortable, though the fold out for the kids was very uncomfortable. Thankfully they provided a bunch of extra blankets and stuff we could use as padding so the kids found it comfortable enough to sleep on. There is laundry and dryer, but only one machine per floor so it may not be available, though I guess there's nothing preventing you from using the machines on other floors. I'd stay here again!

Convenient and friendly stay

Here for business and fun so this location was perfect. Quick elevators and great coffee shop for convenience. Condo had everything needed for cooking and plenty of towels. And the bed is really comfortable.

Winter Vacation

We stayed for 22 nights in Jan. 2024. The property was clean and well maintained. Access to the property was easy. Parking was included, which is a big plus. The property management company was good to deal with. Any enquiries were always answered promptly. This is one property that we would definitely return to.

schöner Ausblick und sauberes Condo

schöner Ausblick vom Balkon, sehr saubere Wohnung, extrem bequemes Bett, einziger, kleiner Nachteil, die vorhanden Küchenutensilien könnten besser und mehr sein. Nur wichtig wenn man ausschließlich im Condo richtig kochen möchte. Ansonsten von der Lage her ideal zu allen Shops und Restaurants

Nice view, perfect location, close to everything,beach, stores and resto,not crowded, smooth contactless check in/out process, everything is provided in the kitchen, beddings, towels(we are picky with towels so we bought new), toiletries, umbrellas, floaties, all u have to do is bring urself and ur clothes. Will come back in the future.

Great View, Location, and Price

Overall this condo at Waikiki Banyan is a great place to stay. It does need some TLC and updating in the bathroom area (mostly tub/shower is cracking) along with some newer sheets and towels. The front door and window blinds also need some TLC as they are damaged near the lock (maybe from changing it?) and the smaller blinds above the AC unit are missing. Thankful for the AC and the beach umbrella (although the cover for it was also ripped). There are also two new body surfing boards in this unit as we couldn’t bring them home with us. Hoping next renters can enjoy them! ;)

A really handy place with everything at your fingertips

We stayed here for 10 days with teenagers and found the property to be extremely handy with everything you need for a short stay. It was walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beach, the bus stop, and many other things. The property is conmfortable with plenty of spare bedding, a kitchen stocked with handy items, and wifi, etc. The pool and spa was also handy and well maintained. The company managing the property were extremely helpful during the check in process and communicated with us pleasantly and promptly throughout our stay. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a condo in Waikiki.

Good location with a nice view

Pros: great location, close to the beach and great view. The contactless check in and put are great. Parking is included in the condo rental 😀 Cons: This is a bit dates condo but it has all the basic essentials. The kitchen teflons pots and pans are pretty scratched up. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable but luckily there are airbeds so I have no complain.

Cockroaches!

This was my 3rd stay at Waikiki Banyan. And despite my first impression was that the 3401-1 was better than other rooms it appeared to be a false one -- just renovated floor, nice fridge and microwave made the room look better. What we learned quite soon is that the room is full of cockroaches, and not only big ones that could come from outside area, but of all the sizes, which means they were breed there. There were few locked kitchen cabinets where they came from, especially in the evening. And there were traps under the sink, so owners or at least cleaners knew about the problem. Long story short it's a shame for owners to rent out their apartment full of cockroaches, and I would not recommend to anybody to stay in that particular room. My fault was that I believed in good reviews from VRBO, but my wife then noticed that the last one was from 2020. My bad. Never come back.

Good place for Waikiki stay

The condo is located above a hotel, the elevators are very crowded due to the hotel guests. The condo is on very high floor so it helps to eliminate the noise from the streets. The location is very convenient, steps away from the beach and the main strip of Waikiki. It's a small one bedroom space and the one window unit AC works descent to keep the place cool, as long as you have it turned on all day all night. The free parking space is very helpful since parking is hard to find in the area. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and will stay here again when I return.

Just right!

Really good condo with everything we needed for our short stay in Honolulu and in the perfect location for easy access to beach and shops and restaurants. Would stay again. Great views of Diamondhead were a bonus!

Overall Good Stay

Stayed June 2019 The best thing about this condo is the view of Diamond Head. It is in a good location with only a short walk to Waikiki beach. We liked the fact it was at the end of Waikiki which made getting in and out to the freeway easier. The condo is well stocked and we had everything we needed. The sofa and recliner are a little worn, but served it purpose. Queen size bed was comfortable enough. Would have been nice to have a small nightstand next to the bed, also had too many things stuffed into the bedroom closet. The bedroom can get a little warm if you choose to close the sliding doors; air conditioner is in the main room. There are several items stored on the balcony to be used on the beach. We loved having an umbrella to sit under at the beach. Complex amenities were good, with BBQ pits, tennis courts and swimming pool. Free parking was very convenient. Overall we would recommend this condo. With a few furniture upgrades and a flat screen TV mounted on the wall, this condo could easily earn a 5 star rating.

1. The diamond head/ocean view from this property is half true. Significant buildings blocking the rest of your view from this photo, have been "conveniently" cropped out. Am not sure if half truth is the truth, but future renters please be aware. 2. The security deposit, although not much money, will take 14 days post your check-out for refund, pending checks from cleaning lady. This is generally out of HomeAway's norm, as 7-days is maximal. Overall, I am not impressed with this place, and the handling of my booking etc. Maybe it's Wakiki area, but I doubt.

Great to be in paradise

Been at the Banyan a number of times,great location,close to ocean and the park so great for the early morning walk. They have one of the best pool areas, large sunny all day. They even have barbecues you can use.
