"Homer Stunner!!
I've been coming to Homer for over 30 years and this property has the best view of the Bay that I've seen. The well equipped property was a delightful home base for our family. Having coffee in the spa overlooking a glacier does not get old. Enjoying the fire pit in the evening also added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a special Homer experience."

Playful Ravens: A Luxurious Family Retreat with Heart-Enriching Views

Welcome to Playful Ravens, an elegant family home perched above stunning views that can be enjoyed from nearly every window, the expansive deck, or while soaking in the hot tub. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Homer, this peaceful retreat offers quick access to all the charm and activities the area has to offer.

One of our favorite pastimes is watching the sunrise or sunset from the spectacular deck, and we’re sure you’ll love it too. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, warming up in the sauna, or gathering around the fire pit, this home provides countless ways to create lasting memories with family and friends.

With four spacious bedrooms, there’s plenty of room for privacy and comfort. The movie room, complete with a cozy couch which transforms into a comfortable bed and a wall of books, is perfect for streaming your favorite shows or relaxing after a day of adventures. For deeper relaxation, enjoy the four-person infrared sauna.

The fully equipped kitchen is a cook’s dream, featuring All-Clad pans, a double convection oven, and a large fridge/freezer—ideal for crafting memorable meals. And if you reel in a fresh catch during your stay, it’ll make the perfect centerpiece for dinner!

The side yard’s large fire pit is perfect for gathering around in the evenings to share drinks, stories, and lasting memories.

Cabin with a great view

Everything was just great with the property. From the time we arrived until we left. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room and beds. The view off the back deck is absolutely stunning. It over looks the Homer Spit with Peaks and Glaciers in the backdrop. The kitchen was great we made several meals and had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend.

Homer Stunner!!

I've been coming to Homer for over 30 years and this property has the best view of the Bay that I've seen. The well equipped property was a delightful home base for our family. There were some minor issues, but the owner and property manager responded quickly and forcefully to resolve the issues. Having coffee in the spa overlooking a glacier does not get old. Enjoying the fire pit in the evening also added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a special Homer experience.

Stunning home with AMAZING views!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home! It felt so comfy and cozy that we never wanted to leave! The deck with the hot tub is so relaxing at the end of the day, the kids loved relaxing it in too! We saw a Moose with 2 babies right off of the deck on numerous occasions. This home had plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy! Paula and Becky were great to work with! They checked in with me a couple times to make sure everything was going well. We all hope to be back soon!

Gorgeous views!

We were very happy with our stay. The house is as advertised. Keep in mind that the master is a loft, no doors for privacy or blackout shades for the long days. Everything was great, even when we needed batteries for the tv remote, manager showed up with new ones. 👍 The view could not be any better, gorgeous!!

Beautiful Glacier Mountain View

From the minute we walked into this beautiful cabin we felt at home. We had been on the road for over a week staying in random hotels and frightening places. We felt like we won the jackpot! Everything we could possibly want was right there!! We just brought in groceries and prepared wonderful meals in the fully stocked kitchen. My 5 sisters and me ranging in age from 72-59 were so comfortable everywhere we sat. We spent most of our days and evenings on the beautiful deck overlooking the most beautiful glacier mountains. The amount of photos I took was incredible. Every last one more beautiful than the next. I loved that sunset was not until after 11 every night. I was nervous to use hot tub as I thought it would be hard to open and close even though the directions were very clear. What a mistake!! We could have spent so much time in there!! What a glorious time was spent in there looking at the mountains. Any question I had was very quickly answered. Thank you, I can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful Alaskan style!

I like it when something can be beautiful without looking like it's in competition with the beauty around it. This home is indeed beautiful but blends with the stunning landscape. House is amazing

The house was amazing. Kitchen stocked with all equipment you might need. Hot tub big and relaxing. Greeted by a moose and her babies one day in the driveway. Fishing and bear watching, even with rain, were fun and great. Birdwatching was good.

Hands Down the Best!

We have stayed in so many VRBO rentals, but the view from this cabin is just the best. We drove up and were overcome with excitement, stepping on the deck gave us chills. We stayed on the deck looking at the view for the whole first day. This house was perfect for our group of 8, ranging from 7 to 70. It was so comfortable, had everything we needed. Hope to visit again sometime soon!

Amazing anniversary trip

This was an important trip for us so we rented more than a year ahead. Paula was great. She answered all of our questions and provided great info on local restaurants and which vendors and guides we should use. The house was beautiful with plenty of room for our 3 couples, and every amenity you could want. The view is even more amazing than the pictures show. We have used Vrbo for 10 years and this was our best experience yet.

SPECTACULAR!!!!

I have stayed in many VRBOs but this property by far exceeded my expectations. You will never find this view anywhere else in the world. The property is far enough our of town to be quiet and restful. Sitting in the hot tub with that kind of view is once in a lifetime. If I could give this property 10 stars I would. The house itself is perfectly decorated and well equipped with all necessary essentials. The sauna is high quality with a touchscreen control and easy to use. The property owner is friendly and accommodating and is willing to answer all your many questions you may have about Alaska and her property. Very well organized with most drawers labeled and even left us s'more supplies to make over the fire pit. I wish I could've stayed here all summer! Beautiful Home in Homer Alaska

The location and the property were amazing. The owner and manager were extremely helpful when we needed something. The hot tub and sauna were awesome. We had a moose come into the yard a few times. We had a few issues with the lack of linens and towels which were quickly rectified. The pullout couch and the Murphy bed weren't very comfortable, and the kids slept on the floor on the mattresses from those beds. If you're ok with that then I'd recommend staying here, it does sleep 6 extremely comfortable and would be PERFECT.

Amazing Property with Wonderful Owners

From the beginning of booking the reservation, the homeowner Paula was extremely accommodating and helpful.. She even mailed us (with notes) months in advance of our stay things to do in the area. I knew my family would be in good hands.. We had a minor hiccup with our check in, (no fault of home owners)but the home owners quickly responded and resolved our issues to our satisfaction. They truly treat you like an extension of their family while staying here.. The views are breathtaking and the home has all you need. It was a very relaxing vacation and my son even walked away with 106lb halibut from the trip! We will most definitely stay here again! This is truly a 5 star property

Amazing property and views!

We travelled with 8 people (3 adults and 5 kids) and were more than comfortable all together in this house. The kids had an amazing time playing outside, games inside, enjoying the hot tub, etc. We would all stay here for every Homer travel visit just to sit on that deck and take in Alaska.

Comfortable, clean, beautiful log cabin in a convenient location to Homer. Stunning view from the deck, with hot tub which we enjoyed every day after our outdoor adventures. There were 7 of us and everyone was comfortable and enjoyed their space and the community areas. The view of the mountains, sky and water is spectacular. There are many artful items around the house that make each room interesting and attractive. We loved our stay and would happily return.
