We where hosted in this hotel by 2 nights, the weather was terrible because a typhoon but the staff was so kindly to make us feel comfortable, Regarding the services, the room was very clean and big, the western food is good, also we went to the spa to get a massage and it was so good and excellent price 15 usd for all body massage, Great Hotel!
Very spacious rooms. Clean and comfortable. Hotel shuttle to the ancient town. Nice open air bar. When typhoon rain and flooding shut down the outdoor restaurant seating and kept hotel guests from eating in the many restaurants in town, the staff did an admirable job of bringing tables and chairs into the lobby to accommodate the unexpected crowds of diners.
We stayed for two nights as part of VN tour in Oct. 2017. Our second floor room has a balcony overlook the beautiful ground. Everything was green and the path is well-kept and clean. The room was clean, modern, and has all the amenities including bath robes, slippers, mini fridge and safe. Two bottles of water supplied daily with coffee and tea available in room. AC works well. Internet service was stable and strong. The only thing we thought needs improvement is the key system: still use traditional lock and key ( instead of electronic card). Breakfast buffet has many Western and Vietnamese variety. We enjoyed the local fruits and regional dishes offered. Wait staff provided five-star service. The resort has complimentary shuttle to Old Town Hoi An and the driver was polite and punctual the time we were there. About 10 minutes walk to the right is an interesting local open market. People are friendly. We asked for direction and they were helpful. Customer service was excellent all around. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.
Delayed review, but wanted to highlight the great stay we had at Hoi An Trails in August. Well positioned between a short ride to the beach and also main town Hoi An a couple of kilometres up the road. Nice rooms, pool area with resort feel. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of variety. Specifically, would like to mention Minh at the front desk who would very helpful organising transport, tours and advice on things to do around Hoi An. Great service.
My husband and I spent 4 nights at the wonderful Hoi An Trails hotel and spa. We were welcomed by Minh at the front desk. He was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgable, making our stay extra special. We would like to thank both Minh and Vinh. We needed help with our airline tickets and ideas for city tours. The hotel is situated between the beach and ancient town, which is perfect. They have free bicycles for guests and a free shuttle service to the beach and ancient town. The grounds are lush, including a large swimming pool. The huge breakfast buffet is great. Our room was lovely and Internet strong.
I was visiting as a solo guest during 1st week of October and had booked in on a Superior room. On arrival they had upgraded me to a DeLuxe room, which was very kind of them. The stay was overall very nice although with a few comments on the rooms. They gave me a room in 3rd floor where the wifi reception was very bad. In addition they had glued(!) the shower gel and shampoo by the bathroom sink, so every time I took a shower, I had to step out of the shower, walk around to the bathroom sink and get the shampoo and shower gel. I understand the problem with people stealing your dispensers, but seriously? At least give the guest an option to reach it from the shower! Because of bad wifi reception, i asked from another room and was moved to the ground floor. There the wifi is good but the bathroom had a water leakage from the ceiling. It was however fixed fast when giving notice to the reception. The room was cleaned well every day. The garden and pool area is very nice and attractive with frogs croaking and small lizards lurking around . I believe it is nice for kids with a good area to move around. There is also a spa where I can recommend the foot spa. Amazing! Breakfast is not on the exciting part of the scale, but they have variety of eggs, waffles, hot dishes, cereals and some local dishes like Banh mi that you should try out if you haven't already. There is not much to do in the near surroundings of the hotel so you will have to rely on some transportation to get around to see other areas. They have a mini bus free of charge for going to Ancient Town 6 times a day and the beach 3 times a day. The staff was doing a great job during my whole stay and I want specially to thank Ms. Tran on the booking office and Minh and Vinh in the reception area for excellent performance and assistance. Also the breakfast team was superb and I am sorry I don't have their names!
I and my family had a great time here! It worth every single coin we spent, people were friendly and accommodating. Room was beautiful and comfortable, foods were great. Such a lovely place. My kids wanted to to stay there longer but we had to go, we definitely come back here in my next trip
Nice resort, located in a good spot, from where it’s easy to reach the areas of interest of Hoi An. The staff was kind and helpful, and food was good too. We booked a transfer from and to the airport directly through the hotel. I wouldn’t define it as a luxury hotel, yet it’s a very good price/quality ratio.
Great pool, great room, average food and staff hell bent on selling you a tour. The pool and rooms are the hotels saving grace, wouldn't head back in a hurry but enjoyed our time there with the exception of the pushy staff.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hoi an trails. Gardens are beautiful, pool area was great, breakfast was delicious, service was impeccable. Pretty hard to say a bad word about the place. Maybe a few new CDs for the pool area would not go astray, other than that we highly recommend staying at this resort and it is also very affordable including the food, massages etc. Sam and Sim
