We stayed at Hoi An Trails resort for 3 nights as part of a touring holiday of Vietnam for 10 days. This hotel is fab from the beautifully tended gardens to the spa to the spacious reception and restaurant which served the best spring rolls we have ever tasted. Rooms were huge. We had a garden view with spacious balcony. The staff can't do enough for you and everything is done with as huge smile. The only down side was that we couldn't have stayed longer. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful hotel with separate bungalow rooms, wonderful massage on site. All staff very responsive and welcoming. Free shuttle to beach or to Old Town on request. Dining room staff great as was the food served. Would return anytime I was fortunate to be in area. Two very inexpensive and quality laundry shops directly across the street (50 feet), great way to restart with fresh clothes.
stayed there 3-5-18 two nites resort was clean staff was very helpful breakfast buffet was plentiful and well presented . Location ? close to beach a 20 min. walk or a 1$ cab ride which we did i would return to this property in a minute we enjoyed it and did i mention the sparkling pool ? nice place has spa on property as well !
We stayed at Hoi An Trails as a part of our Gate1 trip to Vietnam. The hotel was lovely and comfortable. The pool was very nice and the spa was great. Our room was large and had a very nice balcony to enjoy sitting outside and relaxing. We had afternoon tea and it was so good and different from the English version. We then borrowed the hotel bicycles and enjoyed an afternoon of riding through the rice fields behind the resort. Very nice stay.
This is a great little hotel in a resort style with a tropical flair. The rooms are comfortable, with big windows and a balcony for day dreaming or reading, and the area was quiet for sleeping. The pool setting is fun with leisurely amenities for making new friends or simply resting and unwinding. The hotel is located near enough to walk to Hoi An, but I strongly suggest you use Google Maps and pin the location of the hotel, as the streets on the maps don't end up where you think they will. I found this method of navigating in SE Asia to be most reliable. Right across the street are 2 stores that will also take in your laundry for a very reasonable price. All the hotels in SE Asia offered niceties such as slippers, robes and bar, but like bar amenities you will be charged if you take or miss place so much as a laundry bag, trust me, they count, even the water glasses. Again, this was consistent with all the hotels I stayed in.
The happy hour bar was fantastic. Excellent service, excellent drinks and excellent food. Staff were wonderful. no one else there when we were there. should be more people in there. Try the Vietnamese platter. Sensational food.
Our group of 17 Californians stayed in this hotel for two nights while visiting Hoi An. I cannot recommend highly enough. The rooms and grounds are lovely, the staff could not be friendlier nor more helpful. Breakfast is an immense spread of both Western and Vietnamese food in a lovely setting. The hotel runs a shuttle into the Old City which is convenient for touring, restaurants and touring. The pool and spa services are excellent. Thank you to Minh and his team: Vinh, Thuy, Luy, Toi, Thang and Quynh for a great stay--I hope to return.
Stayed here for one night on our North to South journey down Vietnam. After time by the pool, a good meal and reasonably priced wine, followed by an excellent nights sleep feel recharged for the second half of our trip. Would definitely recommend for stopovers or even a few days stay.
This is a very peaceful and scenic resort, located fairly close to the ancient city. The rooms in the resort are spacious, and the grounds, pool and Spa are immaculate. The only compliant I had is my room had some mosquitos in it, unknown to me, and they ate me alive during the night, making for a very unpleasant experience. Also, their Spa is nice but you can save money by getting the same Message for less at Miss Van's shop across the street from the hotel. She also has a Mini Mart and a very inexpensive laundry service. Having said all that, I would have rated this hotel much higher if I didn't have the negative mosquito experience.
Lovely accommodations, attentive staff, lush planting, a great place to unwind. Rooms are clustered in low height buildings. You may have to climb some stairs. There don't seem to be elevators. Delicious breakfasts. One of the best features are the laundry services across the road. The people there will launder your clothes very fast and iron items. The cost is phenomenally low. For a fee you can have afternoon tea in a garden Pagoda. The suite size rooms are enormous. A delight to stay here! Across the road are several dining options. Sit in a cafe and watch small round boats made out of woven reed come down the river, or perhaps catch sight of a white crane. Wine and ice cream are sold in little shops across the road.
