My husband & I celebrated our 50th birthdays at Hoi An Trails Resort with a buffet dinner for around 30 family members. It was absolutely perfect. I cannot thank the staff enough for the incredible attention to detail. The food was scrumptious, the cake beautiful & the drinks flowed. The staff were so attentive, just after we had started to eat it poured with rain. Within minutes the guests were seated inside & the buffet moved. This was an absolutely perfect evening and the memories we will treasure forever.
It is our second time we stayed at Hoi An trail resort! This resort has just done the reconstruction for the reception house and the spa area, the other blocks are still the same if iam not wrong. This time, the pool bar is not operating like it did when i came here for the first time. Our family enjoy the time staying here as our rooms face the beautiful garden! Rooms furnitures and decorating are same from time to time and it going old. The breakfast buffet is average of choices, the staff are attentive and friendly. Have free shuttle bus to Anbang beach and Ancient Town.
We had 10 nights in Hoi an. After touring the city we believe that the location was perfect. It was half way between the ancient city and the beach. Free shuttle! The rooms were large, spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast kept us going most of the day and staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend the resort for families. Thank you for making our stay memorable. A special thanks to Miss Van the store holder located directly across the road. She was our source of supply's on a daily basis and we had 3 massages #$200,000. Very friendly and also did our laundry. 👍👍
A really lovely hotel, quite cosy but large, open plan rooms with balconies look over a central pool and bar area! Staff were helpful and professional...and just generally really nice and decent too! Manager Minh went out his way to assist me and my friend on this trip and she was as equally as impressed as I was! Thanks to all the staff at the Resort, I'll be back
We (my wife and a 16-month old daughter) stayed in Danang for 5 nights then came to Hoi An Trails Resort to spend another 4 nights. I'm writing this review on the final night we spend in Vietnam. Our experience of Hoi An Trails has been very pleasant and I'd like to express my gratitude to all staff members of Hoi An Trails through this review. Hotel is very welcoming with friendly and approachable staff members. On the first night, we experienced a noise issue but I was surprised at how promptly the management was able to handle and correct the situation. They were responsive and efficient to resolve the issue. My family is very grateful for their efforts to make our stay as pleasant as possible through the whole time at Hoi An Trails. Breakfast is excellent with variety of menus and services. Meal menus are a bit limited but all dishes are well prepared with high standards. Great spa menus are offered at affordable prices. Overall, our experience at Hoi An Trails Resort has been very pleasant. I would definitely consider coming back and recommend this hotel to those interested in visiting Hoi An.
We enjoyed our time at this hotel. Our room was very nice and large. The surrounds are beautiful and well groomed. The pool area is terrific and the lanterns through the gardens make for a beautiful vibe. Whilst beautiful it did at times seem like fresh paint on an old hotel with some things appearing needing a polish. Bathroom water pressure is poor at times and ran out of hot water most mornings. The pool bar (swim up bar) is not used. They have no plans on using it they tell me ... this despite an email you will see on this forum below asking if it was operating). That it sits in a dilapidated condition detracts a little from the beautiful surrounds. This however is some minor criticism and overall we loved our stay. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The breakfast amazing, and having two beers in the mini bar each day for free was welcomed along with the daily foot massage. Good location but would explore staying in town next time as spent all out time there. Would definitely try again but also explore other locations just to try. Highly recommend for families. Also recommend restaurant across the road directly opposite. Food is great and drinks cheap.
They are super friendly and best service! Their name is Minh and Tien. He is cool guy. Breakfast was the best and I loved the pho. And the pool is nice too. I enjoyed all the drinks. I recommend you go to this place. We would come back.
We stayed here for four nights! The service is great, breakfast a delicious variety of Western and Vietnamese food! Pool is quite nice. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. They provide complimentary shuttles to town as it's a bit far out of town. One time we waited for a shuttle which never showed up...learned our lesson to inform the front desk ahead of time of our need for a shuttle. But taxis are cheap so no real complaints there....
We had 5 fabulous days here and would have loved to stay longer. I chose this place as it had a "resort" feel to it, grounds are beautiful and they have lanterns hanging from trees which light up at night and it's so pretty and inviting. Pool area is lovely, and pool is huge. We had a facial at the spa which was lovely. Breakfast great and a good selection. The Rice Lounge and pool bar were an absolute hit with us. What a fabulous place to relax after a hard day shopping, the kids enjoyed the music selection and pool table in the Rice Lounge and the happy hour cocktails topped off the experience. Ti Na, who served us in the pool bar and at brekky on one occasion, was very friendly and helpful, he is an asset to the resort with his constant smile and friendly demeanour. Rooms lovely, we booked 2 rooms for our family of 6 - one family room (3 single beds) and a Premium Deluxe. Premium Deluxe very spacious with a fabulous little patio. Couple of maintenance issues (ran out of toilet paper, shower was blocked, door handle in kids room was falling off, light outside their room wasn't working, aircon tripped power a couple of times), but we raised these issues with reception and maintenance had them fixed within 10 minutes of us reporting them, so can't complain about that. My only issue was that they had pieces of foam cutouts on top of the mattress in the kids rooms. This didn't sit well with me and I only noticed it on the last day as we were helping the kids pack their bags. If the mattress isn't up to standard as it is, they need to supply a new one, not simply but a piece of old foam cutout on top of it. I really wanted to give this resort 5 starts, and is the only reason I'm not.
What an oasis after walking around in the heat in the Old Town. The pool area is well appointed with plenty of shade, deck chairs and towels. Firstly a special mention to all the staff in the Spa who were friendly and most obliging in booking us in all together and at the times we wanted, the treatments were heavenly. Other staff around the resort were also friendly and helpful, great bar staff, not to forget the three lovely ladies at reception, Tien, Trang & Thuy!! Rooms kept very clean although didn't understand why the shampoo dispenser was affixed to basin and couldn't be taken into the shower?? A great little authentic casual resort with a good breakfast spread.
