Came for 4 day weekend easy walking distance to Salamanca along the foreshore. Stayed on the ground floor thought it was going to be noisy but not too bad. If you book make sure you book parking only issue had to park around corner. Would stay again could have done with a second lounge chair to sit in after a day traveling.
Fabulous location. My only regret is that I only had one night on this visit but I'll definitely be staying at Zero Davey on my next visit to Hobart. Walking distance to everywhere, the room is spacious, warm and comfortable, easy parking either attached to the hotel or open air nearby
What a gorgeous room with big spa bath and kitchen facilities. Not fantastic views but did not spoil the stay. Excellent location next to harbour with plenty of places to eat and drink close by. Comfy bed. Pay extra for parking and price did not include breakfast. Zero davey cafe next door which was reasonably priced with delicious food. Just as a suggestion guests could be offered discounts to use the cafe. Overall a lovely stay and I would return.
My colleague and I stayed at Zero Davey apartments for a work commitment. We are friends but not close buddies and the two bedroom two bathroom apartment was ideal, giving us each our own space and also plenty of joint work space as we needed to work after hours. Well appointed, spacious and warm and close to the CBD. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. A good choice of Restaurants nearby. A Nespresso machine rather than sachet coffee would be nice. Would recommend
We spent three nights here because of the washing machine. The room is clean and spacious and is well-equipped. We requested to have an upper floor but the receptionist told us that the studios are located on the first two storeys facing the Main Street (Davey street). Hence, the traffic at night was pretty noisy. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.
After years of planning to stay at Zero Davey, I finally managed to stay over the last weekend. Hotel is located right on the docks, in a modern building, with some rooms overlooking the harbor. Our room was on the second floor (22) and had lovely views over the street and onto the water. The room was spacious and had a small kitchenette with microwave, fridge and mini bar. The bathroom had a lovely spa and separate shower, plus a washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable and there was a small dining table and sofa area. The hotel has a small cafe and a couple of Asian eateries downstairs, plus the Drunken Admiral is next door, and the stunning new hotel MACq is 50 meters away, don't forget to try their bar with open fire place! Salamanca is a good 10 minute walk away, passing Muirs restaurant, plus the Mona ferry in the Brooke Street pier. We enjoyed our stay in the ZD due to the nice location, comfortable rooms and friendly service.
We booked a two bedroom apartment staff friendly great location and apartment spacious in fact it was fabulous we were shocked that there were no electric blankets in the middle of winter but they were not needed the bedding was warm as, the downside is parking spaces very small and the apartment we had (although fantastic inside) was called "city view" but all you could see was a gigantic water tank would stay again but ask for harbour view room next time
This hotel is situated on the waterfront in Hobart with many restaurants, attractions and the city centre all within walking distance. Our suite came with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine [although we didn't use either in the 2 night stay]. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There are a limited number of car parking spots on site however there are plenty available close by.
Nice large two bedroom unit well located near restaurants and Constitution Dock. Friendly staff. Would stay again. Next time I would request a unit that does not open onto Davey Street due to the traffic noise. Also, please replace the Venetian blinds with curtains!
This is the second time we have stayed at Zero Davey, and now regard it as our home in Hobart for Festival of Voices. Our 3 bedroom apartment was perfect for 3 women. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped and it is within walking distance from everywhere we want to visit.
