Fantastic service, great breakfast. Reasonably central location. Only a short walk to all attractions. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a serviced apartment with hotel ammenities.
I found they had good customer service. There was a good breakfast menu. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The hotel offered great facilities. Close to shopping mall which made it convenient.
We only stayed one night as we were only in town for dinner. The hotel is really conveniently located and was a short walk to our restaurant for dinner. The room was on the second floor with a stone outdoor area and view. We had everything we needed and the room was spotless. Also, the girls at reception were very helpful with local directions.
I made a very last minute booking to stay here after my mum was admitted to the nearby hospital. The staff were excellent, particularly the overnight reception staff who were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very dark and quiet so I had a great sleep, and also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful modern hotel in the city center, short walk to hospital, shops, attractions and waterfront. Amazing room with all mod cons, comfortable bed and high ceilings. Delicious breakfast in the dining room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again.
I travel to Hobart for business on a regular basis. And recommend my staff to stay at the Mantra Collins all time. We always find the staff to be very friendly and go out of their way to make sure our stay is comfortable
Again thank you for another 5 star quality stay. As I travel for business here once a month and always choose Mantra 80 Collins Street you never disappoint. Across the whole hotel the staff are exceptional, rooms are clean and nothing is a bother. Look forward to my next business trip and staying with you again.
Our family of five stayed in a two bedroom apartment made up of a one bedroom suite with an interconnecting twin room. My daughter adored her rollaway bed in the living area, and the boys loved having their own room to watch tv when we weren't out exploring Hobart. Best parts: staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Special shout-out to the kitchen for going off-menu when we returned with three children exhausted from Mt Wellington, too late (8:30!) to find anywhere to eat in Hobart on a Tuesday night. Housekeeping did a great job tidying up after us every day - always lovely to come back to a clean room. Reception were excellent with directions, storing luggage on our last day, and suggestions for negotiating the carpark. Parking attendants allowed us to use reserved spaces when all the casual spots were full. Being able to check out at midday made our last morning much more relaxed, and the free bottle of wine and 2-for-1 breakfast voucher were a nice touch. Not-so-great: The rooms have an awkward layout: the bathroom door almost hits the glass wall of the shower, and the rack in the shower is so small that even the supplied travel-size toiletries kept falling off. There is no space between the open wardrobe door and the bed in the one bedroom apartment: I had to get dressed in the corner. The wardrobe itself is mostly taken up with spare bedding and the ironing board, and there are no drawers, only hanging space and a couple of shelves: fine for overnight, but difficult for longer stays if you want to unpack. There is no airconditioning vent in the bedroom, which became very hot and airless in the night, so I had to get up and open the doors to the living area to allow some airflow.
could not fault our stay the rooms were excellent, Staff were wonderful and very helpful with any questions we had. Certainly recommend to others. We were able to book a trip to Port Arthur from reception and was picked up and dropped off at the door. We had a great day.
