Great Vacation Townhouse

Pleasantly surprised, very clean, updated, nicely decorated and close to the beach. Liked the tile floor in the first floor, master king bed very comfortable, bathrooms recently renovated. My first time visiting HHI, so I was worried how far of a walk it would be to the beach, but it's only a 10-15 min walk. The pool was right outside the unit. Could use new beach chairs and umbrellas. Great stay, would love to return to the Greens complex

HHI Beach Condo

This condo is in the perfect location, community pool is right out the front door and the beach is just a short walk/drive down the street. There is a very strong musty/damp odor throughout the condo and came home with the smell on our clothes that where in the bedroom closets. There is damp rid in the condo as an attempt to decrease the odor and smell but it is very strong. We also witnessed water bubbling up from the kitchen floor (was reported to property manager). the smell really takes away from how wonderful the condo is. the beds are extremely comfortable and the back deck is perfect and overlooking the golf course.

Issues

Upon entering there is a very musky smell. We began bringing our luggage in and a cleaning lady with her 2 kids came straight in checking to see if the unit was cleaned. It appeared to have been. However I found a dirty cleaning rag on the back of the Dining chair. The floors were dirty not from only sand but other things as well. Paper pieces for one. Our feet were dirty with stuff sticking to the bottoms. Dirty coffee cup in cabinet. Just off from the back deck where empty plastic bottles. I did call and ask for a new mop to be brought and I mopped the unit myself within the walking areas where we would be. Upstairs twin beds the spreads had dog or cat hair. I think cat. The king bed quilt was dirty and we washed it.

Great location and updated interior!

We loved the location and the interior was updated and really nice. We didn’t realize that the coffee maker there wasn’t a Keurig but a slow drip coffee maker. We would have brought filters and ground coffee if we’d known. We were unable to find filters (flat bottom) at the grocery store so we had to rely on instant coffee in the morning. (Yuck!) Not a big deal but would have been nice to know.

Great Location and Amenities

We loved staying at this HHI condo. The location and proximity to the beach, pool and local restaurants was ideal. We especially loved all the shaded bike trails offered in Shipyard. The condo was very clean and well equipped with a good selection of beach chairs, sand toys and a wagon! The beds were comfortable and the 2 1/2 baths was such a luxury. Couldn’t have asked for more!

The greens

Wonderful place. Beautiful clean and spacious. Master bed was AMAZING..so comfortable. Shed was stocked with beach supplies which was awesome. No hot tub. One pic showed hot tub but just a pool...which was great as well. Will definitely stay again.

Great place

We really enjoyed the stay. Location was great, close to the pool and just a short walk/bike/drive to the beach. It was a pleasant surprise to get a beach parking pass to allow us to park closer to the beach access. The place was clean and updated. The only negative was that the listing shows a hot tub, and that doesn’t exist. But it wasn’t a huge deal. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved our experience! Can't beat the location right across from the pool yet the place felt private and peaceful. We loved being able to walk to the beach or drive a short distance to enjoy Harbour Town, Coligny sights and shopping. We will definitely be back!

Pros and Cons

Pros - location to beach, clean and nice beach wagon and toys for kids. Kitchen was well appointed. Cons - everything is very outdated. The sinks are slow, furniture was VERY old and uncomfortable. The unit needs an update. Overall our stay was good but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The Greens Villa

The property was in a great location. The unit was clean. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. The unit could use a rug or two to give it a warmer feeling. The living room furniture was not very comfortable.

Good location

Great location only steps away from the pool and just a short walk to the beach. We were a little disappointed because pictures showed a hot tub and there was no hot tub. Also we never had access to the pool bathrooms because the code we were provided didn't work. Place seemed clean and had plenty of room for the 4 of us.

First time at this unit.

We have been coming to Hilton Head for ten years and have stayed at numerous units in Shipyard. This was one of the nicer ones we’ve stayed at. Close to the pool and ten minute walk to beach. Highly recommend.

Great location, clean, spacious unit

We loved our stay in this unit. It was very clean, updated and had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The unit was in a great location within walking distance to the beach. The only reason to not give it a 5 overall is the unit needs to have an extra lock on the front door that isn't a part of the keypad and sliding glass doors need to have an extra lock attached to each. We felt a little uneasy about the security of the doors. Most units that we rent have that extra level of security so you know all doors are locked properly.

Nice place; great location.

Great proximity to beach and pool; needs some TLC however. Carpeting upstairs needs to be replaced; master sink doesn't drain very well. Main level TV only got 8-10 basic channels but master TV had all of the cable channels (??). All in all, a good place to stay with a great location.

Beach trip 2019

We enjoyed this property. The pool and beach were close by. My only complaint was that we had two cars and realized on a trip to the beach that we did not have 2 parking passes for the beach. When I tried to call Turnkey the property mgr l was told to go ahead to the beach and someone would call me. I just missed getting a ticket because any car without a pass gets a ticket and they are very strict about this. I should not have been told to go ahead and go to the beach. The phone call I received sent me back to the entrance of the property and then they sent me to the office only to be told that each unit only gets one beach pass no matter how many vehicles because there is not enough parking near the beach. It would have been nice if the property mgr knew this so we didn’t have to leave the beach and run around trying to get the second pass. It would be helpful if this was made clear to begin with.

Good feeling condo!

Enjoyed our stay. Condo exceeded my expectations. Very convenient to the pool and beach. Very comfortable and quiet. Vertical blinds on back door found to have previous damage. Always hate to see damage done to such a beautiful property. I do not have any suggestions or solutions. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to book this property again.
