Great R & R

We enjoyed our stay at this convenient location. We loved that we were able to bring our fur babies. The unit had everything you needed, like beach towels, beach chairs, welcome basket of treats, TV in each room, etc. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this unit to others.

Lovely place and location

Easy to get everywhere including restaurants, playgrounds, beaches, shopping etc. The beach walk itself was very accessible with their beach area barely a five minute walk. The condo was very accommodating, a great layout for a family, and every amenity. The absolute plus side was being able to bring my little Shih tzu who doesn’t leave my side! Definitely recommend!

Winter getaway

This was our 4th winter getaway to Shipyard and second time to this property. We loved it so much we came back this year for 2 months. We love the location. Best spot in Shipyard. Close to beach and biking or walking distance to almost everything. The neighbors were so welcoming especially Lynne our next door neighbor. Great time! Hoping to return again!

Updated, clean, and great location

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo is updated and beautiful, and everything was clean and organized. The walk to the beach was short and easy, the pool was quiet and clean, and the neighborhood felt very safe and friendly. We had a bit of an issue getting into the condo, and the property manager answered the phone late at night and helped us get in. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again!

Dog friendly Beachwalk spot

Finding beautiful places to stay that are in our preferred development, Beachwalk, and dog friendly can be a challenge. 159 is the answer! The unit is exactly as shown in the listing, has a well appointed kitchen with all of the things you need to cook whatever you desire plus a few core spices. The unit’s configuration was perfect for our family and you can’t beat the location. The bedrooms have plenty of storage options, comfortable beds and great bathrooms. There are lots of little touches that make this a wonderful place to stay whenever you visit HHI. There were laundry baskets in each closet, beach towels were provided, and both dishwashing pods and laundry detergent to make things easy before you hit the grocery store for supplies. The property manager is friendly and responsive. Added bonus was a cute welcome basket with snacks and bottles of water that was waiting for us upon arrival. The unit also provides beach chairs, a wagon and even had lots of beach toys. We didn’t need to use the ones we packed. Assuming we continue our HHI tradition next year, staying at 159 is our top choice without a doubt! We enjoyed our and would happily return. Highly recommend this unit to future guests.

Hilton Head gem!

We absolutely loved this property, and will be looking for dates to stay here again! Very close proximity to the beach and bike ride to restaurants and shops. Everything was clean in the house, and was very comfortable to stay in. Highly recommend staying here!

Great Location

Overall, this is a great place. They had chairs, beach towels, and other equipment for use. Property manager was easy to reach, left a small welcome gift, and called to make sure we made it on okay. My biggest issue was the master shower door was off its rail, making it nearly impossible to use. It wasn't a huge deal, but the cleaners should have found that before our stay, when they cleaned the shower. Additionally, the checkout time listed on VRBO is incorrect. It's listed as 11am, when it is actually 10am.

Memorial Day short stay

We were welcomed to beachwalk 159 and allowed to check in a bit earlier and checkout a bit later which was very much appreciated but not ever expected. It is so close to the beach and was exceedingly clean. The unit does need some updating with carpeted flooring but was comfortable and the kitchen extremely well stocked. A tiny baby alligator walked across the backyard which was thrilling but no real issues to report. Thank you Jon and Donna and be our guest rentals!

Winter escape

We thoroughly enjoyed this home for our 6 week getaway from our Midwest winter. We so enjoyed it that we are returning for 8 weeks next year. The villa was equipped with everything you would need and the king bed is super comfy. We have stayed in several locations in Shipyard and this location at Beachwalk is the best. Closest location to the beach! Highly recommend this home! Can’t wait to return.

2nd time staying here

We love staying in Beachwalk. We had a great experience last year when we stayed so we wanted to stay here again. For us being able to bring our little dog is a plus. We have stayed in other places where it is obvious pets are allowed here is not the case. There are no pet stains in the carpet and it doesn’t have a pet smell. Another deciding factor for us is that the master bed slept comfortably. Overall this condo is clean and well stocked with towels, beach gear and kitchen items. Jon was great! We had a few hiccups that were our fault but he was helpful and easy to reach. We will stay here again!

Thanksgiving Getaway!

We have been visiting HHI for 35+ years - Shipyard is one of our favorite places to stay. BeachWalk lives up to its name, being walkable distance to the Beach and the Sonesta Resort across the street. (The Sonesta has one of the cutest gift stores around, btw.) The property was cozy and well decorated. The first day, there was some dog odor (probably because we weren’t used to it). The next day we didn’t even smell it anymore. Jon was great - I texted him about the odor and he came the next morning with air fresheners and carpet cleaner deodorizers. Very responsive to our needs. Will definitely be back! Nothing better than HHi.

The condo was very clean and we enjoyed our visit. The beach is within walking distance and you can also drive to the beach entrance. We had our dog and she loved the beach being her first time there. The rear deck was just rebuilt. One night we even had a deer that walked by about 100 feet from us. Beautiful and so relaxing.

Good location, lots of space

We’ve stayed in several condos at Beachwalk over the years. We like the location - quiet, very little traffic, close proximity to the beach. What we liked about this condo: comfortable beds, instantly hot water and good water pressure, nice fridge, adequate cooking utensils and dishes. What we didn’t like so much: The vertical blinds in the living room have several missing slats so we had to drape a sheet over the window at night. It could use a good cleaning. We noticed lots of dust and pet hair clogging up the air filter. (We bought a filter at the grocery store and replaced it). The furniture was dusty, especially in the primary bedroom. The living room smelled a little funky to me, but I’m a bit hypersensitive to that. It is a pet-friendly place. That might explain the odor and the dust and I probably wouldn’t have minded if we had a dog with us.

Great stay!

This place is just as described. We had a wonderful stay. It was, indeed, a short walk to the beach on a shaded bike path. The condo had everything you could possibly need and was clean. It was also dog friendly. The half bath downstairs was so convenient. We would stay here again.

Second time we have stayed in this unit

We stayed twice now and have no complaints. It's a very nice unit with nice features- close to the pool and not a bad walk to the beach. Management was easy to work with and helpful. Highly recommend.
