Beach Summer Vacation
Overall, the stay at this condo was adequate but not what we were expecting. The check in process and communication from Vacasa was great. We were able to locate the condo and parking spot with ease. The staff that we did engage with were all very helpful and friendly. No issues there! The location was ok. It seemed like most things were about 10-15 minutes away on the island or more. There are not any restaurants really within walking distance with the exception of Coco's, which we didn't try. There is a Kroger only 5 minutes away which was very helpful.The condo and resort property is dated and not what we were used to. This condo is in building 3 which houses the indoor pool. That was nice to have so close by, but all the resort pools always had a "cloudy" look to it and didn't appear to be regularly cleaned. The carpet in building 3 was disgusting and needs to be replaced. The whole resort could use a paint job and deep cleaning. The stair wells were smelly and sketchy. The walk to the beach is only about 7-10 minutes. The condo lacked in a few key areas. There were limited towels and they were very basic and scratchy. There is no dishwasher and a lot of the beach stuff that is listed for guest to use, was not there or broken. So we had to buy additional items. It would be nice to have a wagon, body boards, etc. The condo could use an update. On a positive note, the air conditioning worked great! Overall, this is more of a budget stay and a luxury one.
