Great rental near the beach

This is a great home and perfect for family. Remember to bring your own spices, sugar,, etc but other than that you have everything you need for nice stay.

Short but beautiful stay!

We were only able to stay in this condo for a couple of days due to a tropical storm, however, it was beautiful and the owner was very responsive. The check in process was seamless and took just a couple of minutes. We will plan to stay again for sure!

Relaxing Beach / Family-Friendly Getaway

Great location close to the Beach with big pool. Additionally, Shipyard community offered great access to shopping and dining on the south side as well as Sea Pines & Shelter Cove. Our kids loved the bunk room at the condo! While this condo had great space and storage opportunities, make sure to pack some kitchen basics (i.e., salt, pepper, oil, etc.). Thank you for the stay!

Nice Getaway!

This condo is located in one of our favorite locations on Hilton Head Island because it’s just a short walk to the beach and near many restaurants and shopping as well. We love the bike paths that run through Shipyard and the surrounding area. The condos in Beachwalk are older but updated. This condo was clean, had your basics of toilet paper, soap and paper towels. The master bedroom bed was comfortable. Cons: There is a step down into the living room and it’s not marked and my husband tripped the first morning going in there. Be careful. There was a downpour one night and we awoke to water on the floor downstairs in the foyer that ran over to the breakfast nook. We called immediately and then heard back at 6 pm from the property manager. We cleaned it up and had no more problems but could see three spots on the ceiling where the water came in. Despite these two cons we enjoyed our stay.

Not Recommended

I wouldn’t recommend staying here for the following reasons: 1) The master bathroom sink drain plug was stuck in the closed position and the plunger handle freely went up/down without operating the drain plug. There was cloudy water with a dead spider sitting in the sink when we arrived. We notified maintenance of this issue on the first day and never heard a response from them. 2) There were 2 small blood stains on the master bedroom comforter. 3) There was mold in both the master and guest shower/shower curtain. 4) This unit isn’t stocked as family friendly. It doesn’t come with a high chair or a pack N play. We knew this before hand but other units in the area are stocked with these basics. 5) The unit has a strong musty hotel like smell. You get used to it but it is very noticeable. 6) If you plan to cook, you need to bring literally everything you might need aside from basic pots, pans, silverware.

Great stay for a great price!

We had a great time at this condo in Beachwalk. Checking in was a breeze and the unit was even nicer than we had expected from the listing photos. We come to HHI almost every summer and will definitely re-rent this condo!
