Room wasn't bad except for the tub not draining... Staff had a great attitude, super nice... problem... they charge a $50 deposit which you get back when you check out... they were supposed to give my deposit back on my card... instead he gave me cash... waited until we were over an hour away and called and wanted us to drive back to give the cash back...we we heading to meet family that hasn't been seen in a while...had a time limit to get there...and then he added it back to my card...was demanding us turn around right then...told him we couldn't turn around...told him we would send it back electronically...he still demanded we bring back...told him we had no problem giving it back... that's why we were going to send it electronically...he wouldn't do that so we told him he would have to wait until we were finished with what we were doing.....we had to drive 3hrs to give it back... won't be staying there again.

Knob Hill was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The proprietor was friendly, nice and helpful. The room was not like being in a resort, but was clean and adequate. We stayed for two nights and probably would go there again.

Classic motel-parking outside door, well lit. Very friendly and accommodating gentleman at reception. He mentioned there would be fresh coffee made by 7am…when I smiled and said I would be leaving early for my long road trip, he kindly offered to get up and have the coffee made by 6am!! I thanked him and declined, saying he needed sleep more than I needed coffee…so I can’t comment on how good it would have been :-) But the service attitude was top notch.

watch out for steep driveway

i drive a minivan with a relatively low clearance. the entrance to their lot is manageable if you are careful... but the exit is steep and impossible not to scrape. there are lots of drag marks. Room was clean but a bit rundown.

This was a pleasant stay. We spent one night and had no issues. It's an older hotel but for the price it's a good stay. There aren't any special amenities but if you are looking for just a place to sleep it's a good option.

The owner couldn't get the Wi-Fi working and the heater in the room didn't have a thermostat on it so I had to keep turning it up and down but I've stayed in other rooms that everything was fine
