No Wifi, the AC was too loud, however I have to admit that this hotel has a very attentive staff., The room was very clean.. They just have to upgrade their rooms, or maybe just replace the old AC units.

The hotel was close to nearby shopping center with numerous eating establishments. The free breakfast was a very cheap continental type that offer much other than fruit.

Excellent Hotel and management and staff is very good Special thanks Reception Manager( Daniel )

This could be a nice place because of the pools and the potential of the grounds. However, despite Orbitz advertising that the property is "pet friendly," upon arrival I was initially told I wouldn't be able to stay at the property because I brought my dog. I was told there is not only a 5 kg maximum for dogs, but also a 500 peso (a little over $25) per night extra charge for a dog, neither of which was mentioned on the Orbitz site regarding this hotel. Then, I was also told I must be mistaken, that my reservation was through Expedia and that the above info is clearly stated on the Expedia site. I had to show the front desk people my emails and texts from Orbitz for them to believe me. The folks at the front desk were not rude, but they were extremely indifferent. While I did finally convince them that since I pre-paid, since Orbitz didn't mention the 5 kg maximum for a dog, that they should honor my reservation. However, I did have to pay the extra charges for the dog, even though I wasn't made aware of that at the time of booking online. The grounds have a lot of trash and while someone does clean up some of it each day, there is much that doesn't get cleaned up. My room was clean and the bed comfortable, though a little hard. However, you could hear the people talking in the room next door as if they were in our room starting at 7 am when they woke up. There is more, but I'm out of characters. Never again will I say here.

Beds are "rock hard", staff very pleasant, but did have an issue with their security. There was loud party in room adjacent to mine and security did not seem to mind. The hotel has a no alcohol in room policy, but there was no issue with the room adjacent to mine. They were loud, they were drinking alcohol, and they were screaming all night. Security NO Where in sight!.

Party place! Hotel has a No drinking alcohol in room policy, but totally ignored. There was people in adjacent room obviously drinking and very loud all night.Stayed with my family and hotel booked rooms on two different levels. I requested adjoining rooms, but staff would not accommodate.

Very good hotel overall really clean can recommend it been here a few times and always clean

......but noisy guests!! Of course, that's not the fault of the hotel, but I didn't get one minute of sleep during my one night stay due to loud guests! When I opened the door the following morning, there were Tecate beer cans EVERYWHERE!! And a trash can within 3 feet - sad, and no excuse. I've stayed here maybe 5-6 times, and while the mattresses are hard (typical in Mexico), I can usually tolerate it. But this last time was just too unpleasant. I need to find another option in Hermosillo.

Nice, clean friendly and quite. It was a great stay with friendly staff and clean facilities.

I went with a large group and the hotel was chosen for being within walking distance to the Art Museum. Check-in had a small problem (they had 2 reservations for me, I only made one, but I did call to extend the reservation from 1 night to 2 nights). The room was comfortable, but had that antiseptic smell from cleaning products. The 2nd night we learned the bottom sheet was not a fitted sheet....I woke up lying on the plastic sheet they had underneath. My husband must have turned over and caught himself in the sheets. The air conditioning was great. The pool looked lovely, and others were swimming. The breakfast was worth about a dollar....which was the cost. They did have fresh fruit one morning. The food in the restaurant was reported by a friend to be bad. I wou.d stay there again, and would say it is clean and comfortable with a few areas to improve.

Near the amazing Museum Good cocktails, pleasant surroundings

We love the hotel... And everyone is super nice, the pool is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, and good air-conditioning

Everything was good very helpfull staff clean swimming pool and clean rooms

It was a great hotel for the price. Breakfast was very good

The room service was fast, and the food was excelent. I probably stay here again.

Excelent! Location..Staff..food..rooms..pool..we en hoy out state in this hotel

Beds were very hard which is typical for Mexico. The main problem was the cleanliness of the room. The bedspreads were stained. The carpet was dirty. The lighting was very dim. The grounds however were very well maintained. The location was quiet, no problem with road noise.

I only stayed for 2 nights but it was a pleasant stay. My reservation made checking in and out very quick and smooth. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar on premises was good and convenient since not much is within walking distance. Well, with the heat walking distance is shortened.

We only spent one night at the Hotel Colonial, but it was perfect for our needs. Check-in was easy, and the hotel clerk spoke English. The room was clean and a good size for the 2 of us. Good water pressure and hot water in the shower. The bed was a little hard, but I find that's to be expected throughout Mexico. We did not use the pool, so I can't comment on that. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. But all in all, a good value, and I would stay again.

very nice and serviceable attendants. restaurant' s food was ok

We feel that you do not enjoy your stay to the fullest; We will try to solve the indicated problem. Orbitz works directly with Expedia, which is why your reservation entered with us through them. And Orbitz does mention pet policies. Thanks for your opinion.
