It is very close to the large Talos Plaza with lots of shopping, restsurants & Starbucks. Maria at reception was most helpful when i was needing help navigating the bus service & even booked a taxi for me to get to the airport. The free municipal bus stops nearby. , at Talos Mall.

The hotel is on the edge of the city center and only 2 blocks from the ocean. You would have to walk about 20 minutes for a small beach or drive 20 for a nicer beach. I rented a car and drove all over the island. Maria at the front desk was very helpful. Parking is hit or miss aw far as street parking. The hotel does have an arrangement with a parking lot a few blocks away, I never used it as I usuy found street parking closer than the parking lot. The room was very spacious, two TVs and a large balcony although I never used it as the view was not great. I stayed 8 nights and never had a problem. Is stay there again.

The hotel sent us detailed information regarding check in, parking, and bus services to Heraklion. The room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable. We chose this hotel because we thought we would have difficulty of finding parking in Old Town of Heraklion. The hotel paid for the public parking. The location of the hotel is surrounded by local residences.

I’m not easy to please and I spent a very long time searching for hotels and reading reviews, but I have to say it was a beautiful experience staying at Pavo Art Hotel, it is very modern, safe and sleek, all the staff were friendly and amazing, checkout was at 11am, but George allowed me to have the room until 13:00, and also said I can wait in the lobby until I’m ready to leave as I had a late check-in at the airport, one review I read before booking this hotel said there’s a Lidl 10 minutes walk away, I can confirm that, also there’s a Greek supermarket about 3 minutes walk away, a plaza almost across from the hotel, several mini markets, chemist and shops, there’s a euro bank around 7 minutes walk away, literally everything you need is in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful and clean apartment, everything looks new and spotlessly clean, and good host as well. Parking is an issue, a bit far away and inconvenient to drop off luggage at front before you go and park.

The hotel is in a Residential area, but is walkable to the main attractions and restaurants. It's a fairly new building so accommodations are nice and very comfortable. The rooms have a small kitchen area in the event that you want to prepare breakfast. Staff at the reception are really nice and helpful. I really recommend this place.

Cute space, would stay again

This was such a cute space and just a few minutes from the beach. I do recommend renting a car (which as our oversight, the front desk did help us do). We drove to a beach in another city as our front desk person recommended and we are SO glad we did - it was beautiful. Since this was a part of a longer trip, we really appreciated the laundry facilities that were just around the corner along with the supermarket that was just a few steps away.

We had a very comfortable stay at Pavo Art. Our room was spacious and had a nice courtyard. The contactless check in instructions were clear and easy to understand. Anastasia was very kind, accommodating and gave helpful suggestions on where to eat and places to visit. Highly recommended!

Everything perfect! The property is amazing, and the flat we got looks even more beautiful than in the photos. Our balcony was watching an internal courtyard, and it was very silent at night. The furniture are new, the spaces very clean, and the sofa is huge and comfortable even to sleep on it. There were bottles with cream, shampoo, shower gel and soap from Korres, a high quality Greek brand I love. The staff is very gentle and kind and hospital. They gave us check-in instruction in advance, and local information once arrived there. We appreciated having free bottles, coffee and tee whenever we wanted. Good location, easy to reach with bus from the airport. It is close to the water promenade, and the city centre can be easily reached in 10-15 minutes walk. There is a mini market just crossing the street and a LIDL supermarket just in 3 minutes walk. We tried some nice restaurants in the nearby area.

It was like my second home! Perfect and quite location. The apartment has decent modern layout with perfect kitchen strings. Any queries are easily obtained from professional receptionist which has helped to feel at ease. Highly recommended.
