We stayed here for 5 nights to visit family and a wedding at the manor. Location was great. Easy walk to the bus and market and also to families homes. The hotel room was clean and nice. The wedding held at the manor was very beautiful and food was really good. We ate the breakfast one day but not much to our likening. Things to make note of: only 2 towels in room on arrival, had to ask housekeeping for more. There is also no refrigerator or microwave in the room. This was tough for us because we like to have a few cold drinks and also no ice machine so we had to make a homeade cooler with ice from the market. Overall a really nice place.
This is a good hotel if you want to have a one day rest of a full on tourism trip filled with historic sites, buses, taxis, etc. it is very far from Helsinki and transportation is not easy. If you like to run this is paradise with miles of runners exclusive paths.
This hotel has quite spread rooms in a big garden. If you want to enjoy the fitness or the swimming pool askk to stay in that building as walking distance is considerable. Good quality dinner and breakfast at reasonable price. Friendly staff. Some rooms have nice nature view
I stayed in a new part. There is a sauna, bath room and a swimming pool. The rooms are bright and the beds are beautiful. The bed linen quality was excellent. Wi-Fi works, but the choice of television channels - Brag of nothing. The breakfast is fantastic.
We stayed at the Hameenkyla the night before our flight and wanted to be close to the airport but still have a quiet time. The staff gave us a warm welcome and helped us with all the questions we had. We had to leave early so they gave us a cooling-box for our room with breakfast. It was great! The room was clean and looked great. It had a traditional, minimalistic style. The only negative point was that after showering the whole bathroom floor was wet because the enclosure doesn't properly close.
Not so average place for a business lunch - well worth trying! There are few alternatives in this part of the Helsinki metropolitan area for this kind of a little upscale but informal event. Easy to turn off from Ring road 3 by car but difficult to reach by any public transport. Fresh, versatile salad, scrumptious soup and 2-3 main courses to choose from the buffet in the newly renovated and stylish premises. Fried liver was a palatable specialty for lunch and shrove buns with coffee left good taste in the mouth.
I stayed in the new part. There is a sauna, mini gym and swimming pool. Unfortunately because of the obvious lack of funds the swimming pool water was a bit too cold. Rooms are luminous and beds good so sleeping quality was really fine. WiFi works but TV channel selection is nothing to brag about. Breakfast is fantastic. One needs a car to stay in this hotel because it is really isolated. I think the stay would have been even nicer if it were summer because of the nice environment. This manor is definitely worth the money.
Just a short taksi ride from the airport, this hotel cum business conference center in the countryside around Vantaa is a great alternative to the normal business hotels. Nice, sparsely furnished but very functional bedrooms and bathrooms, very tidy all around. It isnt manned 24/7 so the bar shuts around midnight and there is no porter / receptionist for earlyu checkouts. Make sure you plan your checkout and transfer to the airport the night before
Was in town for one night and wanted a different hotel experience from the typical airport business hotel. The old manor main building is interesting, has a lobby bar and a downstairs restaurant. Rooms had recently undergone a complete renovation. My room was in the main building and was typically Nordic, clean and simple. The breakfast buffet at downstairs restaurant was excellent, and service was efficient and friendly.
Spent two nights in the hotel and celebrated my birthday with 20 nearest friends, of whom 4 stayed also over night. Everyone was delighted of the athmosphere and tasty food. We were served nicely during the party and everything was taken care of beautifully. The room was spacious and bed excellent.
