This property was a tale of two halves...The property itself is beautiful - in a stunning location, very well presented, spacious, luxurious. It is huge - ideal for groups of friends or multiple families to spend a relaxing weekend in a really lovely location. We were thrilled to be able to stay there.But on arrival, the property wasn't clean. We asked for fresh bedding for one bed that had obviously been slept in (which was provided but we had to remove the dirty sheets and make the bed ourselves). The floors hadn't been hoovered (we were given a hoover and told to do it ourselves). We asked for fresh bedding for all beds (because we were nervous) but it didn't come so we had to just make do.In addition, there were lots of little details that made it feel like this host is new to hosting, or hasn't actually considered what is needed to stay in a property for a length of time. We had to ask for tea towels for the kitchen, and for bath mats (the showers are all open stalls that spray water all over the bathroom). Some bedrooms didn't have bedside lamps, none of them had a bin (either in the bedroom or an ensuite bathroom). Considering that this property sleeps 10 people there was only outdoor seating for about 4, and some of that was broken. This property has the potential to be amazing, and with a bit more attention to detail, we would highly recommend visiting it. But our experience was not worth the (considerable sum of) money that we paid for it.
