This was the perfect place for us to stay. It was close to the ASB showgrounds where my son had a trade show and really close to the train for me to catch to go into the CBD. The staff were great as well, really friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Parking was easy, air conditioning was fine. Queen bed was old and uncomfortable. We reported a gas leak to the manager just outside our room. The adjacent room reported it twice to him and he didn't do anything about it. Another guest rang the fire brigade. We had no hot water the next morning.

The room was a bit tired and the curtains needed a backing and the bed cover needed to be cleaned/replaced as when you pulled them back the underside was stained. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. Even though it was on the main road there was no road noise.
