Great for a couple's retreat

Beautiful, Clean, Convenient

Conveniently located to fit our needs with a quiet beach and the sound to go fishing, both within a short walking distance. Little shops right there in the village and the ferry dock right next door. Very clean condo with a balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean across the way. Everything we needed included pot's/pan's, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, coffee pot and so much more. I highly recommend as a great vacation getaway and would definitely stay again.

A fun, relaxing stay!

My family had a good time at Resting Beach Place! It was the perfect size for two adults and a toddler. We are very grateful for the pool — due to rip currents, it was not possible to swim in the ocean the majority of our trip. One thing I would note is that there is no storage space for nonperishable food in the kitchen, and many of the closets or cabinets in the unit are locked. If you are planning to cook frequently, know that you will have limited counter space.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at this location. We found everything to be clean and neat. The pool was nice and never too busy to get a table/chairs/umbrella. We found it to be a very economical stay for our family of 4. The pack n play we brought fit easily in the master bedroom. My 6 year old didn't want to sleep on the pull out sofa but we had plenty of room in the king sized bed for us all. One of my favorite aspects of this property is that it was close to the Red and White for groceries and several nice restaurants were very close like Sol and Dinkeys.

very nice place

This was a very nice apartment. We were mostly hanging with our friends in their house and at the beach so we didn't take advantage of the pool and other facilities in this development. A very comfortable bed, nice TV, good kitchen.

Great Place to Stay

Comfortable bed in bedroom, the pull out couch as a bed is uncomfortable, but we just added some blankets for cushioning. Spacious bathroom. Pool clean and good size. Cleanliness was excellent of the entire place. Excellent location. Only thing lacking is an oven; just one tiny toaster oven makes it hard to truly cook anything. Would stay again!

Nice and Quiet

The area was great exactly what we were looking for. Close walk to the beach, Ferry , shopping, and Musuem! QUIET!!!!The Apartment was nice and perfect if it had been my husband and I. It was clean, and a bag with extra toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels was left on the counter. However there was no dish soap or hand soap left. I have never stayed at a place like this that did not have those on hand,especialy in this time of COVID. Luckily I had hand soap I brought with us because we had other stops on our vacation where we stayed in hotels and with Covid I feel safer with hand pump soap. We could not wash any dishes till we went to store the next day in the afternoon They ask you to run the dishwasher when you leave with the dishes, yet left now dishwasher detergent either. That would have been nice especially since we dont use a dishwaher in our own house so to buy something we do not normally use was an inconvenience. Also the description says queen size sleeper couch. It was more like a full and very uncomfortable. Our daughter ended up sleeping just on the couch all week...There were ice machines on each floor but the one on our floor stopped working. The washer and drier is also for each floor so a liitle inconvenient to use. Besides these things it was a great stay and a having the pool was nice.

Good location and unit. Unit had dog hair on carpets. Missing dishwasher soap, dish soap and hand soap. Need to add a good reading light in living room.

Wow! What an excellent condo!

My wife and I recently stayed at this property for seven awesome days. When we arrived we realize that the pictures did not do this property justice it's much nicer in person. It was very clean with more than enough linens and towels for the week. We had a couple of days of rain so we toured the Cape Hatteras seashore all the way up to Currituck and Corolla. And we enjoyed some of the finest seafood ever! If you want to stay at the Outer Banks away from the crowd and close to the ferry to go to Ocracoke this is your place. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby a bait shop in marina right next door and a couple of nice little shops at the landing. Enjoy!
