Deluxe 2 bedroom apartment
A stylish ground floor apartment with fabulous views over the Valley Gardens. This is a beautifully appointed property in a popular location, only a few minutes' walk from the local shops and the fashionable Cold Bath Road and only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate.
The apartment benefits from a private entrance to the rear of the building and an off-street parking space. There is also free on-street parking at the front. It has a large living dining space with views over the Valley Gardens, the recessed gas fire gives a really cosy feel in Winter. There is a double sofa bed in the living room, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a 5ft king bed that can split into twins, this bedroom also has an en-suite shower room. There is a further house bathroom with walk-in shower. A good sized kitchen with 2 bar stools, washer / dryer, dishwasher, full oven and microwave, fridge and a separate freezer.

Needs fixing up
I booked this flat for a 4 week stay with my 3 children just before we relocated abroad. Superficially, the flat is fine. However, as the weeks wore on we experienced several problems with the flat. For example, the back door lock broke. The front door knob fell off. The dishwasher kept sliding out of its kitchen unit and dislodging the panelling. One of the blinds was broken on the day we arrived, and couldn’t be opened for our entire stay. The smoke alarm hadn’t been tested, so its battery ran out and it started bleeping in the middle of the night. The en-suite shower was unusuable for the first half of my stay.
The owners did fix most of the problems during my stay but it’s clear the flat needs a lot of work to keep things from breaking.
In addition, during our final week’s stay, the cleaner didn’t come. As a result, the bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been. Our towels weren’t replaced. And the sheets went unchanged.
Given the price of the flat, I’m a little disappointed with our experience.
The location was great however.

Very clean and very comfortable. Located opposite Valley Gardens and a quick walk into town. Host was fabulous.
