I can’t say enough about this beautiful home. It was the perfect location for our family. The view was amazing, and it was so peaceful. We are planning on making this an annual trip.

We had a lovely stay. The living area is nicely set up for family-style meals and games. The kitchen is great, functions well. Plenty of sleeping space for all of us. Very close to Shaker Village, which was one of our activities. We visited during winter, kids made good use of game room, but would love to come back during Spring, Summer or Fall to fish. The host is very responsive, helpful and accomodating. She is great to work with. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Fall Family Get Away

Our large family rented the house for a weekend get away. The home was perfect as advertised, the kids and grandkids had fun. Beautiful home, lake and view.

Great Weekend Getaway

Had a great time at the house! We were in town for the Bourbon trail and Keeneland. The house was perfect for our group of 8 and remote enough that we got a great bang for our buck while still being able to get a bus for the bourbon trail. Plenty of room for people to sleep and the game room was really cool. The Captain’s quarters (master bedroom) was amazing! I’d definitely stay again.

We had a GREAT stay — house was clean, communication was great. The lake views were incredible, with kayaks and paddleboard readily available for playtime on the water. My only caution would be there are many stairs involved (to/in in the house and down to the lake) which would be a challenge for anyone with limited mobility. We had no problems but just a heads up! It is on a quiet area of the lake and was just the getaway our family needed. HIGHLY recommend!

Lovely home, with a very beautiful & spacious kitchen, living room, dining area. Well equipped kitchen & well stocked TP & paper towel. Could use hand towels for bathrooms and dish towels in kitchen. The entire upstairs had incredible view of the lake! 3 sets of sliding doors that opened onto the upper deck. Incredibly serene!

Beautiful views and full of amenities!

We highly recommend this property! Beautiful views, right on the lake with dock access! (We enjoyed kayaking and hanging out there)! So nice to sit on the decks and enjoy coffee no matter the weather! (Both covered and non-covered decks to enjoy)! Also this property has so many amenities that our family enjoyed! (Pac-Man Arcade w/multiple games, a pool table, shuffle board, board games, TVs in about every room, books to enjoy, and so much more)! It was located about 25 minutes from Danville and a little less than an hour from Lexington. (We ventured out for groceries and mall shopping)! To note: the main road to the lake house is somewhat narrow, but not too bad, we had 2 vehicles a car and a passenger van, and had no issues and were able to park both vehicles there just fine! We highly recommend this beautiful home and plan to come back! Awesome views, great amenities, good location!

Spacious with fabulous view!

Paradise Key is beautifully decorated and spacious with fabulous view of the lake from multiple decks! Usually the rooms will look bigger in the pictures, but not here, I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the rooms were. Plenty of room for the 6 of us, my sibs and spouses and our gear. We had 2 days of bourbon tours and spent the rest of the week swimming, fishing and playing cards in this fantastic lake house. My sister used one of the kayaks and even found special kayak life vests. The house is exactly as stated. It has a well appointed kitchen. We cooked every night and my sisters especially loved the fridge with the beverage drawer. We enjoyed the game room and the multiple decks with the fantastic deck furniture. The parking was even better than I expected, since the road is narrow, but we easily got a pickup and 2 good sized cars on the pad.
