Very comfortable and clean

This property was exactly what we needed. The owners paid much attention to detail in regards to making the home cozy and comfortable. Very clean. Bedding was nice. Downtown is only 7-8 minutes driving distance. Lots of cool places to eat and drink downtown

Gem near JMU

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from JMU! The townhome was updated and welcoming. Everything in the description was there and some extras (iron, hair dryer). The living area was comfortable and big enough for 6 adults to eat, play games and watch TV. The bathrooms are in the process of being updated but were exceptionally clean. The location right near JMU, Rt 81 and the beautiful Shenandoah Valley can’t be beat. We will definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Everything we needed

The townhouse had everything needed for our stay, nice and clean, we appreciated the instructions and it was a perfect location for our birthday visit with our JMU student daughter.

not set up for gust

so the check in was easy not a bad street. I house was close to stores but that's where the good part ended. House looked clean until yo looked stove and microwave on top so so grease no dish soap and sponges no nothing. Bathroom on main floor did not work. The utensils and pans were dirty stuck on food and just put away. No trash bags. I have rented lots for house for work and I own a property management compey I get owners can't keep the house full but there should be at least I few basic things. When emailed the the contact for the house was quick to respond and had people there the next day but then only dropped off sponges did not clean anything as pm said they would we left a day and half early ..

Perfect stay for our college visit

This property allowed us a comfortable stay near JMU for visiting our current JMU sophomore and allowing our high schooler to visit JMU and enjoy the Harrisonburg area. Conveniently located to everything. We will be back!

Very nice, perfect for a small family.

We have been looking for a place that is near to campus for us to rent while we visit our daughter at JMU. This place is very convenient and suited our needs perfectly. We will be back!

Convenient and Comfortable

The townhome is spacious and clean, and the pictures and descriptions accurately depict the unit. The furnishings were good, and the kitchen contained what we needed. I was in Harrisonburg for a bicycling tour, and the unit was a perfect base. The backyard wasn't particularly nice (a shed is close to falling down), but we weren't planning to use it in any case.

Nice, quiet location. Nice home.

A nice, spacoous, attached home, in a lovely, quiet, safe neighborhood. A suggestion to owners is to put some sort of window cover on back door windows for more feeling of privacy. Also, sun blocker curtains in bedrooms as the beautiful, morning son was very bright. Being retired we like to sleep late. I could not figure how to get lock on front door, that holds the key to open the front door, but the owner called back, immediately, to help. Maybe a little video to show how it works (for people like me, lol). We had a few, harmless large black ants visit us, so I bought spray and I sprayed, generously by door frames. None came after that. Ant traps may help. The windows do need a good cleaning. At first we thought that they were frosted. Sometimes we wanted to open the windows for fresh air, but some did not open, and on most the screens were not keeping out insects and spiders, so we did not open them. We had to search to find the garbage disposal switch (it is on the left wall of the under the sink cabinet) as we are used to seeing that switch on a wall near the sink. Maybe let renters know it's location. Past tenants did not clean the glass top stove, and some pots very well, so I cleaned them. Something to check before each, new tenant. The couche and loveseat look ok but could use new cushions as they're re a bit saggy. The toilet seats need tightening, too. The washer and dryer seem nice but we did not use them. Maybe the owners could leave some detergent to start the sheets and towels, as requested. The can opener needs replacement. We went out and bought one of our own because we could not open cans. Other than that, everything was clean and comfy and would recommend the place. The owners seem very nice and willing to help in any way. Thank you. Janet and Richie

Place for biking in Spring

The house is well located near two large supermarkets and more. It is comfortable and very quiet and we would probably stay there again if we eventually return in the area. The only things missing were salt and pepper, which was quite surprising. Otherwise, everything was there. My wife and I slept in one of the two bedrooms and the bed there was really comfortable and great. I wouldn't have liked however the other queen bedroom's bed as it made a lot of noise and wasn't near as much comfortable. So this is a perfect house for a couple being on vacation. It was clean but we had an issue on and off during our stay with ants which was a bit annoying, but nothing disastrous. The free Netflix was quite appreciated and they have a great Wifi speed connection. All and all, we really enjoyed our stay there.

Clean and comfortable!

I was happy with the fact that this place was clean, comfortable and looked exactly like the pictures. It was in a convenient location that was easy to get anywhere around Harrisonburg. The beds were super comfortable which is important to me as I have fibromyalgia and it's usually hard to get comfortable. The owners were so helpful and very responsive. The only suggestion I would make is to provide more than 1 trash bag, more toilet paper and to have a full length body mirror somewhere in the house. There was no way to see how you looked before you headed out. Lol. Otherwise, I loved this place. Thank you!!

very convenient!

This was perfect for my family while I was hospitalized at RMH! The location is a very short drive from the hospital - and also easy to get to restaurants and stores. The three beds were comfortable, and the soft extra blankets were much enjoyed as the weather got pretty cold during our stay. There were three of us, each with a SUV/station wagon, and we were all able to park in the driveway. The wifi was great! The one thing that we would have appreciated was a blow dryer. Both my sister and I overlooked that there was not one provided. Thank you!
