room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke that at least had been filtered out. Hand towel was on the floor when we first checked in. The side exit door to the hotel had a garbage can that reeked the entire stay. Other than those things which aren’t too bad in the grand scheme of things, the staff was very friendly, the room was quiet, and for the most part pretty clean, and served its purpose. The breakfast wasn’t great, but was exactly what we expected and that was good enough. Would we stay here again if we needed a hotel in this area? Absolutely.

I was extremely impressed with this hotel during a stay with my family of four. It truly felt like a home away from home. From the first very friendly check-in to check-out, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us at a level that we have never experienced at any other hotel. The suite (a premium suite with two queen beds and gas fireplace) was a little smaller than we expected based on hotel photos, but the ammenities in the room were great. The full-size refrigerator was great so that we could save on eating out; the beds and furniture were very comfortable; and it was exceptionally clean. A nice selection of snacks and beverages were included as complimentary and refreshed daily which was a great addition. The hot breakfast each morning was available for about four hours and had a nice variety of food choices. We stayed during the week and there were complimentary socials each evening and included light fare that we actually found filling enough to be actual meals. Complimentary wine and beer were available at the socials. The chef prepared freshly-baked cookies in the evening which my kids loved. My kids loved the heated outdoor pool which was open from 9am to 10pm. Based on our experience, we will definitely stay here again! Great experience in every way!

This hotel is about a 25 minute drive to Hershey but well worth it. The location is great, nice and quiet. We were on the 2nd floor and the suite was so quiet, we couldn't believe the hotel was booked up! Staff was very accommodating. The buffet breakfast is amazing! Many, many selections including our favorite waffles. Loved it and will stay again. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it felt like home!!

We enjoy staying at the Homewood Suites in Mechanicsburg for easy access to the Carlisle car shows - close enough but not the worst of the traffic. It is a good value for the money. We can usually find enough to eat breakfast, each morning, the light supper on Thursday is also adequate and reduces expenses and we look forward to the freshly-baked cookies at 8:30 in the evening. The staff has been friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious and clean. Highly recommend!

Suite was large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children. We did not need an extra mattress. Kitchen staff honored our requests with a smile. The hotel was dog friendly, even though we do not have a dog, our kids enjoyed petting the dogs of the other guests. Hotel was located on a quiet street so I was able to get in an early morning walk without worrying about avoiding cars.

We went up to this area to visit Hershey and wanted a place where 2 adults and 2 children would be comfortable. We loved having a small kitchen and a separate room with a tv in each and a doorway between them. We could watch a football game while the kids watched Disney and Nick in the other room. The staff was extremely helpful in providing us with additional requests when checking in since one of us is on crutches. We were only about 25 minutes from Hershey and the price could not be matched within hours of Hershey. We were very happy with the cleanliness of our room, the ceiling fan kept us comfortable all night, the bathroom and the rest of the room were spacious, and the breakfast was a great bonus.

The hotel and staff were simply amazing. The room was spotless and had many amenities. Staff was more than friendly and responded to every request quickly and accurately. The morning breakfast was top notch!

We came to PA to visit Hershey and go the the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle. Our stay was 4 nights. On our first night there our car broke down AND my husband got badly burnt. The staff helped us with phone numbers for a garage, numbers for a rental and they called local walkin clinics to get their hours for the burn. It was evening and only one place was open and the car was broke, someone on staff was great enough to get him to the clinic and then go back and get him when he was done. One women at the hotel asked us every day how was he doing. The sincerity was highly appreciated. The "light" meal Wed and Thur. was more like a full meal and was great. Warm cookies on those nights was really enjoyed as well. My kids are 4 and 10. They loved the pool. They also loved that the front desk had board games that they could borrow too. We loved our room that was like a small apartment. And there is a computer room that you can use to get onto the internet. That was handy for driving directions. Thanks to the hotel and staff we had a great vacation even though we had car trouble and a medical issue. We definately recommend and would stay at Homewood Suites again.

I stayed one night for business. May return with my family to visit Hersey Park and / or Gettysburg, PA. Very nice accomidations, freindly and helpful staff. Cookies in the eve, a big breakfast in the morning Nothing else I needed

Great place to stay. Breakfast provided was excellent, lots of choices. Used the gym onsite and was satisfied with it. Big rooms. My room had a kitchen, LR and seperate BR, 2 TV's. Furniture was newer. Staff was friendly. Would recommend to any traveler on a budget. Could have accomodated my family of 4 if necessary.
