When it says bedroom in garage it literally is in the garage with an operating garage door and no windows. Lots of stairs going up to master 15 to be exact. Location is great. Decorating was exceptional. Lots of rules

Christmas Visit

We were down to visit family for Christmas. Place is well kept and nicely decorated. Water view from upstairs was very nice. We left a day early due to the weather but would recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Great property, quiet location

We had a great time, a nice roomie property in a quiet location. When we first arrived, there was a small issue, but we contacted the managers and it was quickly remedied while my fiancé and I went out for dinner and drinks. The rest of the stay was uneventful and very pleasant. Not the best spot if you’re looking for nightlife or upscale restaurants, you’ll have to do some driving for that sort of thing. The hot tub, deck and dock made the stay well worth it. My fiancé was able to fish off the dock while I drank beer and read on the deck. If you’re into wildlife, there is some great birdwatching, and a rather impressive (scary???) sized alligator that swims up and down the canal out there. So when they say no swimming, they say it for a reason! My only ‘complaint’ (and no, I didn’t tell the managers about this because I’m not sure there’s was an easy solution to it, lol) was that the big bed up stairs is very noisy and not great for ‘adult activities’, if you’re trying to be quiet. We had no guests or close neighbors so didn’t think it was a huge deal. They provided both a Keurig and a regular coffee pot so coffee on the deck while alligator spotting every morning was a lovely way to start our days there. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others.

Hannahan Cottage

Fantastic place! Highly recommend. No more than 15 minutes from downtown Charleston (and other places.) Decor of inside cottage is very unique and colorful. Located on the river with a deck/dock a few steps outside the back door. Hot tub there too! Loved it. Lowe’s grocery store only 5 min away. We were there 2nd week of March and many of the trees were in bloom. Very large upstairs Master bedroom with own bathroom. And what a view of the river and marsh. Single bedroom downstairs with bathroom only a few feet away. Small yet accommodating Kitchen with open plan to dining room and living room. If you don’t want to stay in the (very expensive) city, this is the place for you.

Grubbin' and Tubbin'

Great property! Clean, cozy, perfect for 2 couples or 4 person family. Beautiful neighborhood. Easy access to Charleston, I.O.P, surrounding area. The hot tub overlooking the river is the crown jewel. We ate like kings and then sat in the hot tub at night. Can't recommend this place enough for a great Charleston area experience.

The pictures could not really define the beauty of this home, from the art, the river the interior. I have stayed in others but recommend to forget the rest and book this property. I thought I was home, so comfortable, easy access to downtown and the beach. It's a must stay!

Fishing 🎣

If you enjoy fishing I recommend this spot ! They do have huge gators out back I saw an 8 footer across the water in the grassy area . A lot of sharks in the water as well I wouldn’t recommend a swim lol . We caught several small reds and a couple black drum and a few cat fish . Best fishing at high tide , chum if y want to bring the sharks in . Use shrimp to catch fish , use a heavy sinker like 2 oz . Use the fish u catch to catch shark ! Thank me later … the place has great kitchen and clean sleeping accommodations . I have zero complaints .. but the fishing is good just gotta watch out for snags it won’t take long to learn where to cast n let it sit . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cutest Little Getaway!

This place was sooo cute, just as advertised! I loved that it is its own unit and had parking right in front of it. I loved the colorful paintings on the walls. The view waking up, and especially at night with the lights around the dock, was soooo nice! The hot tub was awesoooome! So nice to have! We didn't need to do any laundry while we were there, but the washer/dryer were really nice, and they provided a few Tide pods, which was so thoughtful. They had plenty of towels and blankets, and they provided body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and Q-tips in each bathroom. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't run out of or use up all of anything. It was so easy to get into the house. The door has a digital padlock, and they email you your code the day of your arrival, so we could arrive at any time after check-in and didn't have to worry or stress when we were stuck in traffic if we were going to get there at the time we had planned. The neighborhood was quiet and nice, and the driving time to/from the other places we visited during our stay was just fine. So happy we were able to find this and book it for our trip, and we will definitely keep them in mind for our next visit to Charleston!
