The hotel is in a great location and having 3 restaurants on premises is great although the servers while very friendly are a bit slow. I think they may need more servers on staff. The room is smaller than we expected but was sufficient for our needs. Would have selected a two queen room as opposed to a king bed and sleeper couch but that was all that was available. We enjoyed the balcony and view of the ocean. We did have an issue with smokers on the surrounding balconies, the hotel is completely smoke free, and the manager took action as soon as I reported it on 2 occasions, thank you! The bathroom was large and modern and the cable tv selections were good. Valet parking was convenient as we left to go to Kittery, Maine twice. Overall a very nice stay, we will stay at the Ashworth again. We stayed 5 nights. Would highly recommend either ocean view or ocean front room! Worth the extra money.

My husband and myself were treated like royalty at the ashworth. From our arrival to our departure the staff was rite there to help answer question or to get us what we needed. Our room was cleaned every day when we were out and about or at the beach so we did not have to wait when we came back for more clean towels. The room was a little smaller than we are use to but it had a king bed and refrig. The balcony was nice looking at a partial view of the ocean. We are definately going back there next year. The sand bar had the most incredible waitress and bar tender. I think her name was Mihala she treated us like she had known us forever. Can not wait until next year!!!!

There is no better place to stay in Hampton Beach due to location, number of restaurants on property, number of rooms available. This is an old hotel that has added a newer addition which is the better part of the hotel to stay in. Rooms are clean, good size.. Try to get a room with balcony overlooking ocean.. Really beautiful. Customer Service is good.. In season rates are very high but again its the location you are paying for.

Loved our location as far as walking distance to beach, but rooms are not what they say or advertise so be careful when booking. Restaurants had very good food-our breakfast at the smaller restaurant called breakers was delicious each time! Rooms were nice and big but could use some updating.

Rooms were clean but outdated. No microwave in the room. We stayed middle oceanfront 1st floor. The view would of been really nice if the glass was cleaner. While sitting on the balcony I got wet from the air conditioner from the room above us. There's free coffee in the morning but no one takes care of it when it's empty, you have to run around and find someone. Staff wasn't all that friendly. We've been staying at the kentville next door for 12 yrs. We decided to try the ashworth. Never again it's not worth the money. Back to the kentville next year.

Been visiting for over 35 years, and The Ashworth keeps getting better each year. The location, staff,(Norm, Rita, Suzanne, Lisa, and Joe the chef), MAKE IT SO. The food, and kitchen are top notch. The rooms are always spotless. The new improvements via Linchris, make for a excellent future. Will NEVER stay anywhere else!

We had appitzers and drinks. The calamari was the better of the appitzers and the lobster Rangoons were good. My husband said the clam chowder was good. The drinks were very weak. More than we can really afford. But if you have the money it's worth a stop. The atmosphere on the top floor makes it worth the relaxation, open air and the live music from the guitarist was excellent. He had my kind of playlist. Would give it a B+.

Really nice location, SUPER work-study staff and pretty good food. I love Thai muscles and although tasty, I'm guessing sugar was added because they were SO sweet. Caesar salad was delicious as was the Quinoa dish....really delicious actually. My friends were all very happy with their meals. Very good value or at least what we expected ....about $100 with tip for a good meal and bottle of wine.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The beach was nicely located across the street and just a few blocks away from most of the entertainment and shops. The hotel was clean. however, the walls in our room were very thin. You could hear the neighbors in the next room and overall the hotel could use a facelift. The only issue we had was that there is no hose to wash off the beach sand when returning from the beach. Had a nice stay

Have stayed here many, many times over the years. Worst visit ever! The water was cold every shower. Check-in used to be friendly and they always remembered what rooms you stayed in. Not this time. Had to go round and round to find the sunny side with balcony. Every towel had a couple stains on it. The second day I took towel off the cart. Still not up to my standards. Under staffed in the restaurant both nights.
