Stayed here for 2 days, but it was not worth the price, outside of this place looked great, but that is where it ends. Inside the room was very run down, outdated and needs an upgrade. Rooms where not overly clean, one of the bed 's had stains on the cover, needs replacing, tv had no guide to it, so you did not know what sky channels it had. Rubbish was not far from our room disgusting! Old ovens and baths all over the place. just keep driving if you see this place. Had ground floor unit, not good as you can hear people in the room above us.

Room was as expected for the price, a little dated but clean and tidy. Bang on what I needed. Nice table outside to sit at and have a few wines Spa Bath + Standard room ($100) through booking.com Would return here due to the service and convince to paknsave

Enjoyed our stay here......had a lovely quiet room which was awesome....very central without being right in town..... Have stayed here before however think it has changed hands since we were there last... Will stay again when in Hamilton

Very uncomfortable two nights at this motel.would not stay again. No easy chairs to sit in to relax and read a book or watch some TV.Lying on a hard bed was the only option!sore backs in the morning.Good shower pressure and hairdryer but shoddy paint job in obviously renovated bathroom.Very dated room with dirty curtains.Needs a complete PROFESSIONAL do up.

Stayed overnight in room 2, ground floor, queen size bed, separate triangular spa bath/shower, seaprate toilet and wash basin. My stay was comfortable, relaxed, rested from a very busy week of work. The free wifi worked very well, i managed to do some study. The TV had 4 channels, 4 on rugby and 1 on movies. Enjoyed watching movies as well. The bed was very comfortable, fresh crisp linen, the bathroom areas were hygienic. Yes there was some wear and tear, like curtain broken behind the down, all very cosmetic really. What was important was comfort, cleanininess, wifi, ease of access. The motel receptionist knocked on my door and indicated i had an interior light on in my car. I really appreciated that. I would have woken to a flat battery ion my car.

This place is a shocker Broken blind on front door, ripped bed coverings, trampoline bed, toilet seat attached by one screw, wall paper ripped in bathroom, filthy iron and torn burnt ironing board Was dubious about using the spa bath, surprisingly worked ok Contemplated sleeping in the car or going to Kmart to buy a sleeping bag PaknSave trolleys used for their linen trolley- bet they'd be happy about that This place needs to be closed down and money spent on it to bring it up to an acceptable standard.

Helpful young woman in office but accommodation was dated, scruffy, mouldy, rotten skirting beside bath. windows didn't close fully in bathroom so we had to stuff packets between handle and latch to close window in hope to close out some of the very noisy main road. 2 small milk pottles of uht milk enough for one drink!!! I had to use a knife to make my cup of tea because there was no tea spoon. Two elderly woman showed us their room because they were shocked to find 2 slugs climbing up their damp and rotting room. This place was terrible and the restaurant for breakfast has a roof that is covered in mould. We were shocked that a service is allowed to run at this standard.

My partner & I were attending a three day gathering of Medieval folk. We were due to be under canvas but firstly my mate got a bad cold and then it rained, and rained, and rained, so we booked at Grosvenor, which had a vacancy and that at a reasonable price. The receptionists both booking in and leaving were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. It had a spa bath! Yea. It was near a supermarket, Dominos Piza (and other fast food outlets) that you could walk to in 5 min. All up it was just what we needed. We were lucky we arrived on the Friday as on Saturday it was fully booked out. We are due to be in Hamilton for The Tatoo Cup in September and will stay at Grosvenor if we can.

I stayed recently with 3 other work colleagues all in separate rooms. My room the toilet had a leak. One of my work mates opened her room to find it was already occupied. Her second room when she went to sleep had a sock in the bed so it's hard to imagine when the sheets had been changed. All rooms had fridges that resembled jet planes taking off that couldn't be turned off. We didn't need the fridge as the milk we normally expect wasn't there or delivered when we asked for some. In a city awash with accommodation of a high standard this motel quickly needs to address its issues

We stayed in a "king spa room". There was a double bed and a single bed that could double as trampolines. We didn't wven take the chance of turning the spa on as it didn't appear to be well maintained. The fridge was so noisy we took their advice and turned it off overnight, see the picture of the sticker on the fridge. The heater is a very small blow heater (see picture) which wasn't affective but bed did have an electric blanket, thank goodness, because it only had a sheet and thin blanket which we kept "fighting" for during the night. There was a spare blanket in the cupboard so we got a spare sheet and slept as two singles on the double bed for the second night. One positive was it had good water pressure in the shower. Do yourself a favour and drive past!
