We stayed here for 2 nights after our halong bay cruise. We love the hotel. Staffs at the reception are very accomodating and helpfull. Rooms are big and with one control for the lights, door lock and music. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. Restaurant food is delicious, the buffet is nice. Kids enjoyed the pool.Halong bay view from our bedroom is lovely. Highly recommended.
Checked in with high hopes of an upgrade from our recent accomadation as we have been backpacking and using mostly 3 star hotels. This dissapointed on all fronts. The initial welcome at check in was poor, staff not friendly or interested in giving any information. We then checked into our room on. There was an obvious smell of damp but as we had been travelling for hours we decided to let it go and open some windows. Big mistake. When we woke up in the middle of the night the smell had worsened and the sheets were noticeably damp. First thing in the morning i went to reception and had to argue to get someone to come and check the room before letting us swith. No apology given and the lady at reception even acknowledged they know some of the rooms are damp! Were not given ay sort of refund for the first night and at no point was any courtesy offered. Should have sticked to the lower star hotels as this cannot be considered anywhere near 4 star given the obvious problems and date decor. Stay well clear as there are far more options in Halong that would also be better located.
This hotel was quite comfortable and enjoyable for the price and last minute availability needed for our visit. I’d not recommend this hotel for modern furnishings, rather a stay more reminiscent of a high-tech nineties vibe. The rooms were very clean and the staff gave exceptionally professional service. I can’t fault this hotel for its excellent customer relations even when faced with a clear language barrier outside of their control. Stunning views from the majority of rooms, great location as a midpoint for tours of cruises. I’d happily stay again for the comfort and staff.
We stayed here for one night in a suite which was lovely, well sized and clean. We had a view of the bay, bridge and wheel which was good. We had the buffet dinner which was really nice, there was something for everyone and it tasted really good. Breakfast was good too & the staff can’t do enough for you. Overall it was a great hotel.
The hotel looks dated and uninviting from the outside. With that said, the lobby is really nice. The rooms are clean and spacious. Not the best views though. The buffet dinner and breakfast is really really good, we were pleasantly surprised. The pool area isn't super luxurious but the pool seemed clean. The gym has some strange opening hours which was a little inconvenient. I would definitely stay here again if I were going to Ha long bay. BUT! To anyone who has not already travelled to Ha Long, DONT! Take a day trip from Hanoi. We decided to take 4 days in Ha Long, because how can a place so beautiful not be nice but the town and area really isn't. People in this area are very bad at English. The taxi drivers take you on detours and overcharge. Make sure to use the meter and to have a google map ready to make sure you're being taken the right place. The choices of restaurants in the area are awful. If you stay here and can afford to do so, have the buffet dinner all nights. Ps. Do not order the in room burgers! The buns are rock solid, the meat not very well cooked and no sauces. The dryest experience ever.
view was geart in night time. Hotel location was not convenient for walk. If you want to eat or buy something, you should take a taxi but room condition was good and clean, staff were helpful. breakfast was nice. Hotel seems like a old so sound proof was bad. overall my experience was good.
The folowing was perfect: The Price was more than reasonable, The Room was amaizing, Breakfast was above expectation, Staff was so nice, Gym was great... Pool was crowded and noisy, and the hotel location is not bad...
This is a good hotel but has too many local Vietnamese guests that may try to pick a fight with you in the pool as with my experience, drunken vietnamese father picking on my baby...it was crazy. Other than this, the hotel was nice a good views or the bay. Just see my pictures aa proof.
This hotel located under the Bai Chay bridge and next to the sea. It is also on the main road so if you get out of the hotel and walk along the sea, this hotel is a good choice for that. One of my favourite service in this hotel is the dinner buffe. They offer many different kinds of food from seafoods to lamp and steak, and I can enjoy dinner with my family at the hotel, no need to travel far. Staffs are also nice and professional.
We stay here from 14th to 17th of June with my family, staff were friendly, great view to bay, hotel room was bit old! Any way it is clean and good service! Good location to walk around the town and to restaurant, only 5 minutes to water park from here!
