This was a beautiful location. The room was nice and cozy, I loved the private onsen time, and the staff was so friendly and sweet. They provided lots of amenities and even let us try Japanese candy. I definitely recommend this place and wish I had more time to stay longer.
Everything was perfect: the easy check-in, the friendly staff, the size of the room, the comfortable bed, the delicious meals and of course, the Onsen. We were treated like kings. Highly recommended ! Thank you 🙏 !
What a lovely place to stay! Staff were very nice and helpful. 3 different onsen available for private bookings which you can use multiple times per day. Highly recommend!
The Ajisai Onsen Ryokan was an amazing experience. The hotel is small, quaint, peaceful and the Onsen's are fantastic. There are not enough words to describe the staff. Nagi, Namu, Rubi... the Chef, the cleaners were TOP Notch. Stayed for 6 nights and we ordered the 7 course Kaiseki meal for 5 nights. Delicious can't even describe what we ate. We are already planning a trip back to the Ajisai. The one on one Customer Service relationship is a 10 star in
our book. Domo Arigato for soothing our souls,
Family of four stayed a regular room with very comfortable floor mats. Everything from the staff to the cleanliness and attention to detail was amazing. We really enjoyed the onsen experience including the provided yakats. Easy walk from the train station or a very inexpensive cab. We opted for the half board and that was amazing 7 course Japanese mess worth every yen! We were sad to leave.
I stayed with my partner and his elderly parents. We were so impressed with the quality of the service here. I especially loved being able to partake in the traditional aspects of the ryokan, wearing yukata, sleeping on futon. We loved the traditional Japanese meal package, the food was superb! Thank you so much for hosting us, we left with such fond memories!
We had a delightful stay at the Ajisai Ryokan. Communication before we arrived was great - they recommended we get a taxi from Gora station for 600yen. Our first private onsen was already booked when we arrived. The welcome was warm. We had room service meal delivered. to our
Very nice onsen. Very nice ryokan. Staff is very helpful. We tried all three of their onsen options. We agree this onsen ryokan experience is award winning.
The staff was especially helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and suited our party of 4 perfectly. We enjoyed the Japanese dinner (cooking part of our meal on the individual hot plates was different and fun) and breakfast. We liked having a choice of using indoor and outdoor onsen. We would definitely stay there again.
