I have been to the Carmel Spa three times over the last two years, and it has always been excellent. I just returned from my latest 24 hour stay there with my husband. The service is outstanding. Everyone from the waiters to the check-in personnel to the spa staff is friendly, warm, helpful and aims to please. I had a mediocre spa treatment that I was disappointed by (which is not typical, they have outstanding spa staff, this was an exception for sure) and they offered me a different treatment with a different staff member at no charge, to ensure that I was satisfied, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is low key and relaxed, the setting is peaceful as you are surrounded by the mountains, the public spaces are not crowded, the food is outstanding and healthy and delicious. It is a wonderful environment in which to recharge. I highly recommend!

This was my first visit to this very highly recommended Spa Hotel. It is restful and quiet and we liked the idea of no children or phones. The amenities are all first class The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is as good as it gets. We had wonderful treatments and enjoyed our two days here. It is expensive but worth it. Only points worth mentioning are that the reception is just too slow at check in and check out and the rooms are getting a bit tired. But this will now be an annual trip for us.

Not the first time and certainly not the last. When you want to get away from your daily routine and just relax this is the place - highly recommended. Great service, smiles all around, quiet, relaxing and very special experience. Tnx alot.

We stayed at the resort two nights and had a magical time. The staff were extremely nice. The food is very tasty and a great variety of dishes. Also the spa is very calming. So if you are feeling sone tense in your life, it is highly recommend to book for the weekend !!!

Overall, good experience. However, it was my fourth visit in 12 years, and it was not as good as before. The good: The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, and the view of the Carmel mountain from the balcony is great. Breakfast and dinner are rich, with wide selection and good quality. The pool, while being too small for the crowd and missing seats, is very quiet, with nice views, and rich bar. To be improved: Check in is at 16:00 (keys are promised by 18:00?!) and checkout is at 12:00... We arrived at 13:00, expecting to leave our luggage at the front desk and spend time by the pool, but were told hotel policy is that if you arrive earlier than check in you should add 600 NIS (?!) Upon arrival, we were told we should book time for dinner, but we can only do it after 15:00. We came back at 15:20 and the told us only available hours are now 18:00 or after 21:00.... we took 21:00 but then before we were done with desert, staff already started cleaning and packing... Rooms decoration is outdated. And missing standard facilities such as WiFi speakers, TV you can stream to, iron, etc. Room is equipped with a Nespresso machine, but only 3 capsules, strong, weak and decaf. For each additional coffee you should call front desk and the bring you 3 more... for a 3,000 NIS for a short night, I’d expect they just put a few and save the bother. Unlike previous visits, offered activities were dull and quite boring. Cocktail workshop was lame to say the least, and overcrowded so couldn’t even taste the two samples given. Staff was polite and tried to be helpful, but my impression was that they changed to much younger and less professional staff to save costs. Overall, I’d say stay was very good, but does not meet potential, and value for money speaking I’d expect more and am used to more.

We stayed here for one night having been several years ago. In my opinion it remains simply one of the loveliest hotels in Israel. The location is stunning. It is quiet and restful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is exquisite. The staff helpful and friendly. The major draw is that no children are allowed . It is about the only place in Israel which is truly a sanctuary , no mobile phones by the pool ( only on silent) , no blaring music and no feral kids! Please don’t change.....

We returned for a visit with a granddaughter requiring gluten free food. The staff could not have been more accommodating, checking with her at each meal to be sure she knew what menu items were appropriate and producing gluten free bread each time. The facilities and services continue to be absolutely the best, although we missed the self service tea in the lobby of years ago. For relaxation this is unsurpassed anywhere.

My wife and I stayed here recently for two nights. We had an amazing time. The resort is in an amazing setting/location in the Carmel mountains surrounded by trees and nature. They don't allow kids or people taking phone calls in public so the place is very quiet and tranquil. It's so relaxing everyone walks around in bath robes! The food is also very good particularly breakfast. There are lots of things to do from; loads of different treatments in the spa, an indoor and outdoor pool, loads of classes and organised walks. We ended up doing a few treatments and sitting my the pool and chilling out for two days. The room we had was large, clean and comfortable. The room might not be the most modern but it was very nice. We also had a lovely small garden terrace. Overall we had an amazing time! The only "issue"! It's not cheap! If you want to go somewhere to switch off and recharge. this is the place to go!

My wife and I have just spent 3 nights in the Carmel Forest Spa. Whilst it is time for the Hotel rooms / common parts to be updated / modernised, it is still the best place in Israel for total rest & relaxation. There are no kids allowed, both the indoor and outdoor pools are fantastic, the gardens are beautiful, and the food is outstanding. However, it is the service levels that really differentiate this hotel in Israel ...... many of the staff have been there for many years, and all are trained to do their best for the visitors to the hotel. Specific mention this time must go to Edmund, who is delightful, as well as the quality of the treatments which we had in the spa; all of which were superb. Well done Isrotel !! But time to spend some money on the hotel !!

No matter how many times we come here we never get bored and always look forward to coming back. Amazing location, good food, nice rooms and high quality treatments. The only issue - and this has been the case for a while - is that the aircon in the rooms really needs upgrading. It just doesnt work well and it must be hell at night in the summer! We look forward to our next trip.
