Bachelorette Party!

The owners of the property are amazing. We messaged them requesting information on the surrounding area and things to do and they sent us a very accurate and detailed list. We also asked about them decorating and hanging a banner prior to our arrival. They hung it and decorated the cabin prior to our arrival. We booked the cabin for a bachelorette trip and we had a great time. No complaints just great times! Will book this cabin again.

Slice of Heaven

What a beautiful little spot in the woods. I was initially worried when I saw two campers on the other side of one of the tree lines. However, you could tell right away that they were abandoned. The cabin was perfect in ways I didn't think a place could be perfect. The kids had the freedom to RUN wild on the property, and there were no complaints about the commotion they made. We explored the creek, played board games, told scary stories around the campfire, and cooked breakfast and dinner on the giant flat-top grill every day we were there. They just enjoyed being children, and I enjoyed experiencing their unfiltered happiness and experiencing a phone-free, internet-free, worry-free vacation. This little place had everything I wanted and everything I didn't know I needed.

Friends bachelorette weekend

We loved the coziness of the cabin and all the decor. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the area. It was nice to hang out with friends and celebrate the bride to be!! The hot tub was wonderful and so relaxing, and a big reason why we chose this house. We are already planning our next trip!!!!

Coziest getaway

We absolutely ADORED this cabin. The emphasis on “cozy” is no lie! We took full advantage of the stocked kitchen which had all the supplies you could need. With the snow falling, we enjoyed the hot tub and private views. The owners were exceptionally nice and communicative. We’ve already discussed making our stay here a yearly tradition. Hot tub cub heaven

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cub Cabin. The cabin was clean, comfy and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, which is important to us. The location was great - woodsy and quiet. The brook below the house was a lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee or late afternoon beer. We took our bikes over the mountain to do the 3 lakes loop - a beautiful 25 mile ride. Two things of note that made our stay particularly great: the Plancha and the hot tub. We prefer to stay at homes that have outdoor hot tubs and the CCC hot tub was excellent: new, clean, easy to access, and under the stars. The large plancha was so fun to cook on that we never ate out. We cooked all of our meals on it! Thank you for a great stay. We'll be back some day soon I hope!

Very gracious hosts

We actually had to cancel our trip on our planned arrival date, so unfortunately were never able to stay at this property. Although it was way too late to get a refund of the rent, Jill and Pat did graciously refund the cleaning fee, which we greatly appreciated. When we have another family get-together in Hague, this will be the first property I will try to book.

Such a special and memorable place!

Our stay at the cabin was amazing! It is decorated perfectly and is in a great location. A few of our favorite things were hearing the brook behind us, warming up in the hot tub after a few windy boat days, the comfortable beds, cooking on the Blackstone and the proximity to the marina. The Hague market makes amazing sandwiches and the staff at Dockside Landing Marina were great as well. We will be back next summer after making so many great memories with our family here.

Surrounded by nature

Beautiful property and cabin. Lots of small issues added up though and the hospitality was below expectations. Negatives: no dressers in master BR Loud water pump in master BR sounded like a jet landing (stopped after day 1- maybe from heavy rain?); Master BR door wouldn’t open, not just sticking but locked in.

Cozy, Relaxing and Peaceful

We booked the cozy cub cabin for 4 days. My boyfriend and I had 2 days to ourselves and our dog and then had some friends meet us for the other 2. The Cozy Cub Cabin is an accurate name as this was such a cozy spot. It was nice and quiet but not too far from the touristy spots either. Jill and Pat were great hosts and responded to messages quickly. This is the most relaxed I’ve ever felt from a vacation. The cabin is a little smaller then it appears in the pictures and the 24 acres includes Hague Brook which is a nice hiking trail. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again. I absolutely loved it!

Very rustic and cozy !!! Beautiful!! The sound of the creek at at night is so relaxing !! Owners pay attention to little details that makes it a special memorial stay. Was perfect for a long weekend getaway. Would love to stay there for weekend in the winter .

Cozy Cabin was as cozy as advertised. My artist teenager loved the decor and art pieces. We originally came to the area to see the Ice Castles at Lake George. The weather was warm enough that it was cancelled but we spent the weekend in the cabin playing games, enjoying the hot tub and watching movies. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we could have wanted and we had a great time!

Cozy Weekend at the Cozy Cabin

The property was exactly as described. Easy check in instructions, no overly complicated check out things to do. I did speak to the owners once about a door sticking just to let them know and one of them stopped in during checkout to take a look. It shows attention to details and that they really care about the property. Great place for a relaxing weekend with my husband. One note I’ll leave for future renters is that it’s about 25/30mins from the nearest store so grab what you might need before heading “home” for the night :)

Cozy NYE getaway

We had such a lovely stay. The cabin was so quaint and adorable! The bathroom was so clean and beautiful, the beds so comfortable, the kitchen provided every item you could possibly need, and the hot tub was perfect to relax in. Highly recommend staying here!

Great spot for a little getaway!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the cozy cub cabin! It was exactly what we were looking for, and we were so happy that the cabin in real life looked exactly like the online listing. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals, the leather couch in the living room was SO comfy, and the upstairs bedrooms were clean and cozy. We definitely want to come back in the spring or summer!

This little tucked away gem is a must if you want to go to Lake George and the surrounding area. It's a happy little place just like the photos. Everything you need and top notch too. The owners couldn't be nicer...I just can't say enough! We will be back!
