Family Trip Gulf Shores 2023

We had a great time at Grand Beach Resort. Ocean views, short walk to beach, pool, hot tub. Right next to Gulf State Park.

Great Condo, excellent access to beach!

The rental company makes things as easy as possible, and the condo was really homey and right across from the beach. Loved it!

Location access into condo fantastic… furniture can be updated and more comfortable away from home. Overall our time there was wonderful… definitely would stay again.

The Grand Beach is beautiful the condo was beautiful. The location is great and the pool area is very nice. The only complaint we had was the walkway to the beach. The city needs to build a wooden walkway from the street to the beach. But the condo and property was great!!!

Summer fun with family and friends

We enjoyed our time in the condo with our friends. We were aware of its location in proximity to the road, but we could enjoy the views of the gulf. I enjoyed the fact that it was on the edge of the “condo row” so we could see more of the dunes set aside, it was beautiful. The condo unit itself was nicely done, but it does need a new bed pillows.

Cute place but not on beach

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The only downside is you have to cross a busy 4 lane street to get to the beach. Cars didn't always stop to let you across. There is no cross walk.

Wonderful Seaside

We enjoyed our stay in this condo very much. Enjoyed the views. Everything was clean. There were extras that made it special too like in the children's room with the twin beds were board games and DVD movies, In the Living room there were DVD and card games. The decor was just right. The furniture and beds were very comfottable. There was plenty of room for all my family to relax. The balcony had plenty of comfortable chairs to enjoy our time outside. We will definitely come back again! Thank you so much for the hospitality of this condo. We give it 5 stars.

July 2023 Stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Only a few small complaints- The television in one of the bedrooms did not work at all (we did not reach out to property staff on this though, so it potentially could have been resolved) and the bedrooms did not have great air circulation making them very warm, especially at night. The walk to the beach was farther than it appears in the photos. There is no path to cross the street and the distance to walk in the sand from the road to the ocean is quite far. It was very challenging in the heat for our children. The property was updated, stocked with appropriate supplies, clean, and had a nice view of the beach/ocean. The back deck was spacious and allowed for several people to sit comfortably in the provided seating. We had 5 adults and 2 children in our party and had plenty of space throughout. We would recommend this property.

The manager of yhe HOA was unfortunately staying in the unit below us and got upset because my daughters woke him up because we went crab hunting late and when we put the crabs in the sink one got loose and they hollered and the HOA mamager came and beat on our door and hollered at my mom. The next day at 3pm I recieved a call from my mom saying a staff member told her we had one hour to leave due to excessive noise and smoking. I understand if we did something wrong but I feel we did not do something bad enough to get kicked out like that a day before check out. In my opinion, the HOA manager was mad because he got woken up and after he hollered at my mom and she apologized and he kept on, she closed the door to avoid more conflict. He is someone i.portant, has money, and can evidently remove who he wants when he sees fit. We are no one, Insignificant people with little money and saved up a little who just came to give their kids a good vacation and celebrate my birthday. So if you have a large group or kids, this is a very strict, non kid friendly hotel IN MY OPINION. I was even told in an email that I woulf be persued if I slandered their name, in other words I better keep my mouth shut. But I believe in GOD. My GOD is bigger than all. He sees all and knows all. And HE is just.
