view is amazing but unit could use an update along with pots and pans. skillet handle was very loose. cabinet door strips were coming off. living room furniture not comfortable needs new. Bed slept great. Tv wires hanging in living room and bedroom could be a hazard. The outlets were loose and no charges for tablets or phones was available.

Definitely NOT worth the money!!

The property should not ever be listed again until it gets much needed updates, deep clean, paint new cupboards in kitchen and bath, sheets that fit the bed …how hard is that?? There was no hot water in the shower for 2 days! And no stopper for the tub! Frig didn’t make ice-there was an ice machine but no instructions. We got there in the evening and couldn’t even have a cold drink! Smoke alarm went off 4 times-had to make toast ion the deck!😵‍💫 TV in bedroom didn’t work and the one in livingroom never had a full picture! Couch had yucky stains on it! Dishes were a collection of mismatched items from garage sales. Frying pans were gross! 6 hangers!🙄 Get the picture? And we had to sit on crappy dirty old chairs on the deck while we looked at the beautiful view! The only good thing about this property! We were so excited to get away for a couple of weeks and we were so extremely disappointed!!Paying thousands for this property was a misrepresentation. VRBO needs to do a better job of evaluating the properties they represent. The Cadwells

Best Vacation!!

I’ve waited for years for my “beach vacation,” and finally took one in celebration of my retirement last week. Every time I’d search for a beach vacation, I was somewhat put off by glitzy high rises with the potential for masses of humanity. Or, houses where you’d have to walk a few blocks to reach the beach. But Clearwater Condos is only 8 floors high with 3 condos per floor—a more intimate experience, saying “hello” to those you encountered at the elevator. The beach wasn’t crowded and we could walk out the ground floor of the building, enter a code in the gate (ensuring a somewhat “private” beach) and you are there! Beautiful, white sand and clear-ish salt water. But I think the best part was waking up in the morning and drinking my coffee to the sounds of the waves, with a PERFECT, up-close view of the beach. We also enjoyed watching the “crabbers” at night, with their lighted caps. Last night, a small child squealed with glee every time they discovered a crab. Regarding the condo itself, it was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The building was extremely quiet at night, ensuring a good night’s rest. And finally, the management was in touch with me, responding to my questions and ensuring we were happy and taken care of. We’ve already booked our next trip to bring our grandchildren. We LOVE this place!!!

Good condo for one or two persons

Great place for 1 or 2 people. Would be too small for more unless it was parents and minor children. Bath is small with limited counterspace and space for towels. Close to beach and restaurants. Easy-to-access entry.

Great view of the gulf for a young growing family

The place was somewhat outdated. However, it was perfect for our young family. The bunkbed was a nice touch for our 4 year old. She enjoyed sleeping there. We also enjoyed watching an NCAA football game on the big screen. The balcony gave use. great view of multiple dolphin pods.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great time staying at this condo. Our family of five fit perfectly. Everything was very clean and up to date. With the condo building being on the smaller side, the facilities were never crowded. I would definitely recommend.

Good property

This was a nice enough place. Compared to near by prices I would say this was a good value. The building is smaller than others which helped keep the beach crowd lower. Pool was nice. No pool/beach bathrooms is a bummer. I would stay here again.

Great location right on the beach!

We enjoyed staying here for our first trip to Gulf Shores. Great location and nice property. Great for a family with kids, may be kind of small with 6 adults. Great kitchen that allowed us to cook all meals. Overall great experience and would recommend!

Quaint, great views, and mostly comfortable!

This is right outside the hustle and bustle but close to everything too. The views were great! This is not the best of the best but it is very practical and comfortable enough to be on the beach.

Profile Pictures Tell the Truth!

I was a first time user of VRBO. My best friend of almost 50 years had planned a "get out of covid jail" vacation for months. The condo is almost perfect. Right on the beach in Gulf Shores, clean, convenient to shopping, and restaurants. One minor issue with the shower was addressed immediately. The balcony provides a beautiful location for morning coffee or tea. The sound of the ocean waves were soothing at night. It's a perfect We didn't use the pool, but people seemed to be having a lot of fun. Plenty of parking for one vehicle. Practically no waiting for the elevator. Very quiet for sleeping. I will return to Gulf Shores.

The property was in a good location. The master bed was very comfortable. There’s issues with the outlets! The shower curtain was not clean; had some black stuff maybe mold on and the corners of the bathroom were not clean! The rest of the place was pretty clean! It’s a little outdated but the decorations were cute! The view was wonderful and the deck to the ocean was nice, just had to clean the table and it was good to go! The turnkey service was very good, there communication was more then exceptional and on point! They brought a new microwave the next day when the one in the unit kept blowing a outlet! The washer and dryer in the unit was a plus as it was nice to wash beach and bath towels everyday! Overall it was a ok place to rent! I would rent again just for the the location and view!

Great location nice place to stay

The building and hall leading to the room was not what I would call nice but OK. The room was just as pictured and everything worked and was fully supplied with cookware and dishes. Even had some beach supplies not listed like beach chairs and wake boards for the kids. Stove and oven were clean and worked fine as did the fridge. Both TVs worked fine and balcony has a great view and most important it is extremely close to the beach. The top bunk is quite close to the ceiling and not ideal but the recliner is very comfortable and the sofa bed is ok. As noted in other reviews the washer is extremely loud so plan on doing the wash when you are gone, but it worked fine and also the dryer worked fine. Nice that the condo is close to the state park because it is less crowded on the beach than it is towards town were it is packed with people. We would stay here again for sure.

Great Place to stay

Property was perfect. Not too small, not too big. Great location; easy access to the beach. I would love to come back. Just two minor things - Washer was too noisy & top bed of bunk bed is not really usable as it is too close to the ceiling.

Perfect spot

This condo was great! Right on the beach, so obviously the view was awesome. Have a friend from Nashville who owns one in the same building, so that made it just that much better to vacation together. Only thing that wasn't quite right was the cleaning crew wasn't finished when we arrived. On their behalf, they'd been given the wrong linen. Overall... great week! If you see a Vols flag flying on the 8th floor, tell my buddy hello!

Beautiful view of the ocean short walk to the beach!

Perfect little condo for our stay at the beach! Beds are super comfortable! It was nice having dishes and supplies located right in the room! The washer’s spin cycle is extremely loud like jet engine loud so I recommend if you going to do laundry do it while your out on the beach and not before bed. Other than that it was the perfect condo! The views are perfect!

The small things really made a difference

Everything was as expected and Great location. We were extremely happy to have more than one roll of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, detergent, and soap. We usually have to buy all that stuff and then we have way too much. Plenty of towels too! We come to gulf shores every year but first time in this unit and we had no complaints. Thanks for the great vacation.
