We loved our stay! The house was excellent — clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family of six. We had plenty of space, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. I was a little nervous about being right next to a public beach entrance and worried it might get crowded, but it wasn’t an issue at all. The location turned out to be ideal! We’ll definitely add this to our list of favorite spots and plan to come back again.

Cute little beach house that was clean, in a fabulous location right on the beach. Had all necessary amenities like an outside shower and feet washing area. Highly recommended!.

Perfect Beach House

This is the second year we have stayed at Crows Nest II and we absolutely love it. It has everything you need to have the best vacation. It is always super clean and feels like home as soon as you walk in. The location is great and you are literal steps from the beach. We can’t wait for next year!

Week long stay

This was our first time ever staying in a house rather than a hotel on the beach. The set up was perfect! There was a lifeguard right next out front which gave extra peace of mind since we had little ones. The A/C wasn’t working quite right upon our arrival and they had someone out there the same evening. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property / limited amenities / in need of repair

My family loved our time on the beach. The location is amazing and very family friendly. The house was light on amenities and the deck and Vinyl plank flooring is in need of repair. The floor has been repaired improperly nails that my son cut his foot on. We flew in from out of state and stayed for five nights. The house had three garbage bags, two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towel. There were some sand toys for the kids but no beach chairs. If you fly in be prepared to spend extra for the things you need.

Mother's Day Beach Weekend!

My 4 sisters and I took our 83 year old mother to the beach for a relaxing weekend! Despite the cloudy weather on the first day, it ended up being a beautiful beach weekend. We laughed and made memories. We loved the house except for the mattresses and didn't pay attention to the twin beds and bunk beds. This didn't work very well for us unfortunately. The house needs some TLC and updating. Its very spacious and great for entertaining. Plenty of linens, and towels but NOT enough toilet paper for 6 adults. The deck boards outside need to be replaced. Huge hazard, especially with elderly people. The sand walk from door to the beach is overgrown, and needs to dug out more or even a wood boardwalk would be helpful. Again, not the best for older folks. We loved the location and we look forward to spending our future Mothers Day in Gulfshores!

Cozy beach house

Crows Nest 2 was absolutely perfect. The house was super clean and everything was just as described. The front deck is amazing. We got up every morning and had breakfast watching the sunrise. The grandkids loved eating lunch on the deck while watching for dolphins. This was the perfect beach house for my family!

Perfect Location

Property meet all of our needs for a quite 3 night family vacation with littles. The location is PERFECT!!!! It was clean and had all the basics (bring you own beach towels and hair dryer) including sand toys for the kids. It could use a little maintenance here and there but over all it was good. The only complaint is that the mattress are horrible!!! Other than that it was great!

It’s was ok

Pros: The house was clean and cute for being a older home. The front covered porch was so nice with a great view. The kitchen was stocked well. The area under the house was nice and very clean. They had beach toys and a few other things left over for kids. Cons: It was right next to a public beach access so it was a littler busier, not a huge deal though. The floors are in bad shape and definitely need some work. The laminate flooring was coming up is several places from the house settling so bad. When we got there the master tv wouldn’t come and it took them 3 days to come out and finally get it working for us. Overall we enjoyed our trip here.

A great spot on the beach

Right on the beach with a shower for washing off all the sand. Definitely worth the expense though it is pricey, but thats normal for a vacation destination. Everything in the house worked great, except for a minor hiccup with one of the stove burners, which I informed the property owner of.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful beach vacation at this house! The porch was a beautiful spot to hang out and enjoy the ocean. Such beautiful views. Steps to the beach. Perfect for families! We hope to be back soon!
