Booked airport pick up , driver never show up with name on board . I went to get taxi arrived at the hotel and explained to the hotel that the driver never show up. They blamed me why didn't go look for him at another area . When I come out from airport , all hotel pick up are all there, except my driver. They insisted me to pay for the pick up . I said that you ask driver to come to the hotel , then I will pay. After a call , they said driver already doing another job, so where was him ?? Check in at 2pm , room is not clean up to standard. Next morning , breakfast service finish at 9.30am. Never been told close early. Its the first hotel i ever been with breakfast closed so early . Ask for Taxi , They said u better walk ... Nasty reply . If you want bad service hotel , it will be the one for you.

We stayed at the Saboey for 12 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff is helpful, always with a smile and attentive to the guests needs. The facilities are excellent, it has a serene atmosphere, great sunsets and with comfortable and well decorated rooms/villas. We booked with intention of relaxing mostly at the resort for our full vacation, but as often before some restlessness occurred as well and we were both out and about and had full days at the resort. In total we had a wonderful vacation with a great combination of relaxing and having new friends showing us the island and local cuisine. We would like to compliment the staff for adapting well to our mercurial comings and goings, our requests - and not at least for welcoming us to their delicious breakfast no matter what.
Romantic, quiet beachside resort with individual villas and hotel lodging. Villa's are large and have a large modern bathroom with huge open shower with "rain" showerhead. When we arrived there were flowers on the bed and canopy bed shears. Rooms have A/C. Lovely pool overlooking the gulf with comfortable chaise lounge chairs. Breakfast can be included and is is a made to order meal. The restaurant and bar are under a tiki like canopy. Food is consistent and terrific. (Thai and Western) Happy hour with half of prices happens daily from 5-7. This place is a dream come true.
they went 100% out of there way, took care of us before check in and check out, allowing us to us there facility, arrange for trips with discounts, gave us guidance with places and food, help with rentals
We stayed for three nights in Feb and the hotel is beautiful. The pool, beach and communal areas are superb! The staff are wonderfully helpful and were always able to offer advice, book a taxi or check us in early! The hotel is perfectly located to the ferry port and a short drive to other parts of the island! We would 100% recommend the hotel restaurant but also if you walk down the main road on the left hand side there is a restaurant called the Green Leaf which was excellent! There is a small massage place located on the beach by the resort (250baht) for an hours massage! Thank you to the Saboeey for the most excellent ant relaxing stay!
We stayed at Saboey Resort 6 nights. Originally we were a bit disappointed that our room had no view of the resort or the ocean and we were not inclined to upgrade for 1050 TB. Turns out that we were in the room so little that it didn't matter. The pool area was beautiful and well kept. There were ample deck loungers. Restaurant and bar service at the pool was excellent. Our room was large and kept spotless. Bed was firm, but not uncomfortable. The breakfast was very well done. Jon, the manager, was very friendly and a wealth of information. We loved the staff. Not much for restaurants in the area, but we found The Green Leaf which we enjoyed 4 times and was within walking distance. Minor downfall was that we enjoy long beach walks which was not possible here.
My partner and I stayed for 1 week in February. The place is gorgeous, relaxed and friendly. Easy access to the quieter and less commercial Samui, but still close to the main attractions. The staff were always helpful, and Jonathan (General Manager) was a delight, with wonderful tips to accentuate the trip. A perfect size, without the bustle of larger resorts. Would highly recommend, and will be back!
Just returned from 24 blissful days at the Saboey. For this part of my trip, I was looking specifically for some needed R & R. Received a lovely plate of chilled fruit on arrival which was welcomed. The Manager and staff greeted me with smiles and could not do enough. Gracious and polite. Stayed in a suite which was very clean and decorated in a lovely Thai theme. Bed was comfortable and firm. Slept really well. The hotel is located right on the beach and offers in house spa services. Or you can get an alfresco massage right on the beach. The pool is a small zero horizon with a connecting jacuzzi on beautifully manicured grounds. Also offered are Thai cooking classes where I learned how to make my favourite Thai recipes. An enjoyable and delicious afternoon with wine and dinner. All amenities are within walking distance including restaurants, bars etc. Breakfast is included and made-to-order, not buffet which was a nice touch. Menu was wide ranging including western, light or Thai and presented hot at the table. Especially enjoyed the Thai breakfast menu. The White Bar also serves delicious meals and tapas during the day and evenings. The only negative is that this hotel is located close to the flight path to the airport. After a couple of days, you tend to ignore the planes, and then, interestingly, you look for them. Overall, the Saboey offered everything I was looking for at this time - peace, serenity, relaxation and sun. I enjoyed my holiday at the Saboey and hope to do it again.
