Living in Rummana Boutique Resort is like paradise.... beach and pool is perfect, you can have drinks at the green bar, its a wonderful location, looks like a jungle, friendly people, special service, we love it
We loved our stay here in Lamai Beach area. It was at the southern end of the beach. Nicely landscaped, good beach to swim, bar by the pool to accommodate you while you relax in the sun. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
We love the fantastic landscaped garden design of both around the bungalow and the paths. It gives us a sense of transquility and cool and comfort during the hot day. It also attracts lots of wild life species with wonderful to watch! We love plants and wild birds back home in UK so it is lovely to get this on our holidays too! The resort is not massive commercialised property but is well professionally operated. Small numbers of staff but they are very efficient and helpful. Nothing is difficult. Breakfast are nothing fancy but are plentiful and well balanced. Rooms and public facilities are well kept & clean. The beach front location is extra bonus. We booked our excursion to Angthong National marine park with the hotel and were not disappointed. The staff also arranged a breakfast box for us to take away due to early pick up. Lamai Town centre is about 2 KMs from the hotel and/or around 25-30 minutes walking distance via lovely walk along the beach. We do love our walk before and after our dinners in Lamai town centre. There are also restaurants nearby the hotel resort but can get boring if your holidays are longer than 7 days! Highly recommended and we will stay here again!
The entrance of the resort looks beautifull, a loot of vegetation and many small pons all over the place. The Staff was very friendly and helpfull. At the arriving we received a fresh coconut and some cooling fresh towels. The whole resort is full with plants and nice flowers and it's directly connected to the ocean. The Bungalows where quiet big but the airconditioner was a bit noisy. the ocean infact was a bit rough to swimm in. It's not really a resort for young people.
A beautifully landscape resort hotel nicely nestled in Lamai beach. I was really carried away with the effort put in the landscaping. The really right beside Lamai beach, and located in middle of lots of eateries. Not far for from Lamai Plaza. The staff are really courteous and efficient with special mention of Nopparat Suparoek was pro active and open. Having breakfast in the restaurant while sunrise or sipping a glass of bubbly while sunset can't be matched.
We stayed in Rummana for 5 nights. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. The cottages are just far enough apart to have some privacy. The resort itself is a beautiful tropical garden which ends up by the pool area and beach. The location is just south of Lamai village, away from the noise but easily reachable by taxi. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant by the beach serves great Thai and western food for very reasonable prices. During our stay, one of our family members had a medical emergency and was hospitalised for 3 days. The staff were quick to arrange transport to the International Hospital in Chaweng, and the manager gave us his personal number to call for any kind of assistance. Thanks to Rummana staff for looking after us so well.
I came back with my family in this hotel after one year. Because of a storm the beach part is a work in progress, but close the beach and the water is still very beautifull. The poll is great. The bungalow is big and confortable, the breakfast is ok,nothing special. The place in itaself deserves 4 bulletts, but the service(being already clients) was excellent: elastic at the check in, elastic for the room check out and free taxi to the airport.well done!
