The location of the property is about 25mins walk from both Guidel Plages & Guidel centre. We had problems locating the property on arrival - for some reasons the mapping kept putting the location of the property some distance from where it was. After a frustrating time we eventually found the property and then found there was a problem with ants and a power failure. Fortunately a size 12 & disinfectant spray dealt with the ants and I was able to contact the host to resolve the power issue. Unfortunately the host spoke as much English as I did French, however I was able to converse on WhatsApp with her daughter who had an excellent command of English so any problem was resolved. The garden was safe & dog friendly, the decking was ideal for relaxing on. The living room/dining area was comfortable with an internet enabled tv plus excellent WiFi. Bedroom was comfortable, shower/washroom was very good. Toilet was a touch on the small side. All amenities provided except - surprisingly - an iron. The allocated space in the car park was lost after two days as the car park was closed for resurfacing and upgrading. It still hadn’t re-opened when we left two weeks later. During the time of closure we had to park on a dusty track - the only benefit being that the car was closer to the property. Overall, despite a couple of problems ours was a relaxing and comfortable stay of 14 nights, providing many memories for years to come.
