Stayed for 2 nights whilst on business in Guangzhou. Excellent rooms at great prices, breakfast is more Asian cuisine than Western but most importantly the coffee is superb. All staff very attentive and only to happy to help. Will definitely stay here again.
A group of us stayed here for three nights. One of the reviews captured it: neither good nor bad, but I would say that there are some good aspects and some poor/terrible ones, so average overall. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very positive. Gym, which is important to me, was also pretty good, though the pool is closed from early December to April. A fact that is Not well advertised........ The room itself was poor/terrible. Badly stained carpets, which were covered with bath mats when I walked in to the room, very small and crowded, and the room had an unpleasant smell. When I mentioned this to the staff they responded that yes, they appreciated that and that I was not the first person to mention this........ Generally, a tired hotel that badly needs a facelift.
Ok this is my favorite hotel in Guangzhou. Good size rooms good service good people who always try to help. Stayed here a few times now . Everytime is the same . When travelling for work last thing you want is stress about where you stay. Ok and as a aussie in china who can pass up the words free mini bar . Its not much there 2 bottles of water 2 cans soft drink and a can of beer . To me that is great little bit extra just before bed. They are located to everything you need and more evrything is in walkung distances shopping centers American style bars and food night life . Only down side is the shower sometimes little dirty not really bad just being picky. I would say its not tready or over the top .it is the perfect place to stay that is why it keeps 5 star from me . If here should go stay
Clean and comfortable hotel. Free minibar is a nice touch. Location wise, bus station is just in front of the hotel, lots of eateries nearby. Park n Shop is just across the street. They also provide shuttle bus to Guangzhou east railway station. Will definitely stay here again next time!
Breakfast selection was less than satisfactory, otherwise room was clean and comfortable, well-stocked, and Wifi was working all the times I tried. Conveniently located with a 8 min walk from the train station and a big shopping mall.
I was in Guangzhou for a 4 day business trip. The hotel justifies the price and has all facilities that a 5 start hotel would offer. For business trips, this hotel is perfectly suitable. Check that the price of the room is inclusive of breakfast. It did not mention that clearly in my booking and I feel the breakfast charge was high compared to the room charge.
I reached very late in night after a long flight back from Qingdao; lady at reception was very courteous and helpful to get me checked-in. I booked a room they upgraded to Suite, it was even nice feeling. Over all I can say, it was nice experience, will recommend to others too.
Nice hotel and good location. McDonald's and a big shopping mall right in front of the hotel. Starbucks also present next to hotel. Hotel rooms are good and also breakfast is of good quality. mobile market and banks are also near to this hotel. It take almost 45 minutes from Canton Airport to this hotel. .....
More like a 4 star hotel in USA. Rooms are a little outdated but for the price , I paid 102 usd not bad, it is very clean. Hotel location not bad but there is better for better price and not as elegant looking. Internet seems to be fast whereas a less expensive hotel internet is sllloooowwwww. At the front desk the front desk clerk tossed me my room card with the magnetic room key in it. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way; I have stayed in lesser quality hotels where the staff would not do that so I guess its up to management to show respect for people; that was a matter of simple respect for another person and should not reflect on other employee's whom were A+ unpretentiously cordial. None the less still a 4 star hotel if you wre into such a thing.
Stayed here 5 nights and i come here regularly. I know few guest they stay here as well and all are extremely happy with service and attentiveness. This hotel is real 5 star and service is just amazing. There is staff at every corner to help you just ask. Food is nice, having choice of chinese, western, japanese food is great. Breakfast can't be faulted.
