Almost 2 weeks on business trip, it has been a positive experience. Good welcome, serviceable staff, good food, excellent choice for breakfast. Room and bathroom well cleaned, not very modern or hi tech but functional. Some problems to have the air conditioner cool the room to be confortable and some little misplacements when returning cleaned laundry, but overall a positive experience.
This place is VERY GOOD, don't get me wrong. I had a bad impression on another hotel in town and decided to look for another on on Trip Advisor. I found this one and the reviews are (as always) accurate: decoration from the 90’s (but clean and it looks like it was brought in today) and superb service. Check in was impeccable, breakfast (not included) is attentive and I ordered room service and the food came exactly like I asked for. And not a lot of waiting. The beds are incredibly comfy and the pillows are really good. I wish I knew where they get their pillows from as I would gladly buy some for my own place. Keep in mind again this place looks like a nice hotel of the 90s, so it could use some facelift, but it is cheap and like I said, service is great.
I have stayed in many Holiday Inns over the years. I have been generally very pleased with the brand. So, it is with some sadness that I must criticize this property for its out of date rooms. Very 1990! The bathroom was uncomfortably small and old-fashioned in a boring way. The room itself lacked amenities such as outlets for USB and chargers. The desk area was tiny. The beds were comfortable. On the plus side the restaurant is first-rate. I enjoyed some very good meals sent up via room service. Staff is courteous and professional.
Stayed here on business in the area. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. My room was very clean and I felt I was in an upscale hotel. 24 hour room service was nice too -- and reasonable. I've stayed on the 2nd and 4 floors. I prefer the 2nd as that is where the 'business center' is located. Also has an overlook into the lobby.
Just a quick overnight stay. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very professional and accommodating . I can be a bit demanding. Room service was fast and order correct. Food decent. A $20.00 cab ride, each way from airport.Would likely stay again.
Great breakfast choices for international travelers, some restaurants are nearby as well as poliforum and soccer stadium. Clean rooms and comfortable pillows ! Also some outlet shops for those who want to spend!
I went to leon for a General Managers Convention with IHG I was impressed with the Staff Friendliness The House Keepers on the 4th floor were very nice. Every employee you encountered had a smile and a greeting. As tell my staff always a Smile has no Language.
This hotel is very well located. Very close to the convention center, across from a large store and close to downtown. The 5th floor is reserved for club members and everyday at 7 (am,pm) coffe and/or tea and cookies is served at the lounge area. The restaurant breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff is very courteous and they can extend your check out on asking, which they did for me. Just be sure to reprogram your key.
I spent one week here while attending a conference in Leon. I choose this hotel because of the good reviews on their restaurant and I was not disappointed: very good food, modern but with mexican taste and very well presented. However the staff at the restaurant is not all attentive to the client needs, especially the younger ones: they were distracted by the TV! The room has a bit outdated furniture: the first night my bed had mended sheets! The ice machines in the corridors were not working. Instead the wireless internet connection was excellent and included in the room rate. I have also appreciated to have every day two half liter bottles of water offered in the room. They have also a small swimming pool, which I did not use because of its position: it overlooks the lobby, so it's like strolling at the reception in bikini in a business hotel. They have a free shuttle service to the airport.
Went for three days with family and kids. We decided to stay at this HI coz is at walking distance from "Polyforum Leon" which is the main congress and events center at Leon. Great parking, nice rooms, we stayed at the executive level and had a great breakfast experience. The staff is quite professional and keen with all visitors. I will certainly come back there.
