Nice surprise.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this stay. It had been rated in the 7', but we found it very clean, the staff (Perla(??)) Was very personable, bathroom was clean, strong hot shower, good place to sit outside the room. In addition, my friend was sick one day and both of the staff who learned of this were very thoughtful. One made and brought her tea. Only negative. Someone was smoking at night in the hotel, and tje smoke seemed tp find its way directly to our room.

First of all they did not give us the room we paid for therefore we were short one bed. There were hairs on the bed. The shower had no curtain or anything causing the bathroom to flood. They do have fans but the room is still really really hot. The staff are friendly and nice but just the quality of the room overall is not good. Would not stay there again.

DONT STAY HERE.

HORRIBLE. They transferred us calls trying to scam us and deliver us suspicious packages. The guy at the front desk tried to hide what he did from his boss and not tell her, wouldn’t recommend this hotel to ANYBODY. So sketchy. The typical scam they try to get tourists with but this time the guy at the front desk was in on it. Be careful! Luckily we spoke Spanish and knew what was going on but you never know.

Central, charming

This hotel is centrally located and walking distance to all Guadalajara downtown has to offer. A short bus trip from a nearby bus stop takes you to Tonala, 12 pesos (~0.75$). On Sundays it is a bustling market with anything you could possibly want, from crafts, clothes, food, furniture, etc, The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the old bus terminal which has bus service to the airport for only 7 pesos (~0.50$). Also the reverse route. Overall, this hotel is a great value.

I don't know whether to be mad at the hotel or Orbitz about this, but after making the reservation and arriving at the hotel, they informed me that they did not have any rooms available, so I had to make alternative plans on the fly.

There are better places than this.

Hard bed, glass doors that let in a lot of noise throughout the night, as the airless room was right across from the reception. It's an OK place, but not worth the price.
