this is a big , fairly old, historic hotel, even so the staff dealt with any concern in a personal, professional and prompt manor, even the laundry was turned around within one day! .. would stay here again definitely!

This hotel has an impressive lobby and is located a short walk from the ferry to Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio. The included breakfast featured a great buffet as well as custom ordered eggs. Room 248 was a bit dated and small but had a double bed as well as a separate room with 2 single beds so it was good for a family. Pool was small but nice. Amazing views from the restaurant and outdoor terrace for drinks. Caters to bus groups. Easy parking in the back. Reception very helpful - Fabio terrific!
The second time in this hotel, I am sure to return many more times, if I am visiting the Lake Como area
