The property was relatively quiet consider the Mexican restaurant attached.
All was great staff was very friendly and professional.
Sink in the room was very slow to drain and the cover plate on the floor of the toilet was all rusted out
Dirty, breakfast was awful, bugs in the corners of the room so they don’t clean very thoroughly... will not stay again.
Dirty old place. Won’t stay there again. Bag breakfast was a bottle of water and a mini muffin.
It was ok. The room smelled musty and like it had been a smoking room, even though I requested a non smoking room.
I will never stay or recommend this to anyone. I felt unsafe. The carpets are filthy as well as the furnishings. If i was not so exhausted from driving ten hours i would have demanded a refund
All was good for our stay at the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Good reception and breakfast was outstanding. Could do a better job cleaning the floor, and dusting.
During check-in 6/15/18 the desk clerk did not ask for any ID which i found very odd. It took us a few minutes to locate our room which are accessed from outside due to poor lighting in the parking lot and walkways. The inside of our room was very dated. The bedspread had what appeared to be burn holes in it. We went to purchase a soft drink out of one of the vending machines and found it to have been vandalized and had a note taped on it saying "if you need anything come to the office". We when to the office assuming there was another machine and found there was not but the clerk said they had bottled water for purchase ($2.00 per bottle}. When we checked out the following morning i told the morning clerk of our experience, and she stated that it was not thier hotel to allow check in without ID and the water was free for guests. said she would notify the hotel Mgr of our issues.
I’ve traveled to Alabama three years in a row now and only stayed at this hotel. My first visit and accommodations were great, this visit not so much. The floor was dirty and appeared to not have been vacuumed in a while. The towels the first night smelled like cigarette smoke and things were flying around in my room. I was not very happy with this stay and probably won’t stay here again. Maybe pay attention to detail to help the next person staying there.
